Steam Holiday 2010 sales chatter

Sold on indie story pack, even though two won't work on the Mac, it's still a steal for the other three, and if ever the other two go cross platform...

Damn this thread.

Liquid, do you take PayPal?

Recettear is part of the Indie Story pack.

That for $5 PLUS four other games!?

/mouth drop

/purchase

+5 backlog

Precisely my reaction.

Sure. OK, since it's thanksgiving for most of you, 2 random people out of those 9 will receive it for free.

I'm in for puzzlequest as well lemme know how to give you my money!

*edit: if i'm not too late

I have no idea what recettear is but I just put down $5 on your guys reactions.

The pile grows. $15 spent. 7 games received. And there are 3 days left.

I did the same thing, then come to find out it's one of those weird anime games where you play a Japanese schoolgirl. It plays like it was imported directly from a Nintendo DS.

There's $5 I won't ever see again

P.S. the key to make stuff happen isn't the intuitive Enter key, it's .... the Z key (wtf?)

Haha, those Japanese... you haven't wasted them - And Yet It Moves alone is worth them, and Puzzle Agent seems interesting.

Yeah, I'm hoping one or two of the others will be more my cup o' tea.

EDIT: One more left, don't be shy - 2 of you will get it for free!

I've been waiting to get Recettear cheaper than $20. I already have Puzzle Agent on the iPod and I've never heard of the other 3 games :).

Recettear just wasted the past 3 and a half hours of my life, and I doubt it's gonna stop anytime soon. Thank god it's time to eat. D:

Puzzle Quest 10 Pack is now full

1. Me (liquid)
2. Shea
3. LobsterMobster
4. michaelar
5. obirano
6. Podunk
7. tke364
8. Schrensky
9. Jeff-66
10. aintgotnopants

2 of you will get it for free and I will post the results in a few minutes.

RANDOM.org picked numbers 3 and 8 - LobsterMobster and Schrensky as the winners. Congrats!
Now all of you have to PM me your Steam E-mails so I can send you the game. I'll give you the PP info in the PMs.

Woo! I'm a winner! My mom was wrong!

Thank you kindly, Liquid. You are a gentleman and an enabler.

Congrats! PM Sent, thanks liquid

Kane & Lynch 2's multiplayer sounded intriguing, and so did the shaky-cam style, but I haven't heard many good things about the game. Worth it for $5?

Woo! Second time winning anything ever! Last time it was a puppy calander in a 2nd grade raffle. Who' have guessed both items would be valued at the same price.

Pm sent.

Subscribing.

The Steam page for Puzzle Quest 2 only says it's for Windows yet it's installing on my Mac right now. So, either Steam is currently installing a useless executable on my laptop or I just got a new way to waste time a work.

Yep, Steam just installed a useless executable on my laptop. Thanks. Thumbs up!

It looks like the indie packs and other game packs leaked. Here they are if you want to start planning group purchases.

Good info. Might get that air pack if it's $5 as well. Played demos of a few of those, but $10-20 each wasn't worth it.

* Just Cause 2 8-pack

Depending on the price I might be interested in that.

Empire total war and mount and blade packs may be interesting.

Count me in if there's a good deal on this.

Assuming they're all 5$ - these three are all a stea. Audiosurf and Beat Hazard? Awseome. VVVVVV and World of Goo? Awesome. Plain Sight? Worth 5$ on it's own.

I'd probably be in for the following packs, depending on the price, for the record.

Other Game packs deals:

* Empire: Total War 6-pack
* Freedom Force 10-pack
* Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City 6-pack
* Just Cause 2 8-pack

I might be interested in getting in on a Just Cause 2 or Chaos Rising pack, contingent on price.

Same two here.

These indie packs are AMAZING.
