Steam Holiday 2010 sales chatter

What is really different with the goty version? I played the original and don't know that I née o get this.

Kane and lynch I think will end up being the "I didn't know I wanted it until it was 5 dollars" for me.

I don't know... I was bored by the demo, but it's only 13.64$. [/i]I;ll wait 12 hours and decide tomorrow. I'm pulling the plug on the indie pack though - I always wanted to give Puzzle Agent a shot.

Aye, Batman GOTY is a killer deal. Also great is Defense Grid for $2.50 if you don't have that, and Cities XL 2011 is $9.99 IF you already own the previous Cities XL on Steam.

Critically acclaimed Batman: Arkham Asylum returns with a remastered Game of the Year Edition, featuring 4 extra Challenge Maps. The additional Challenge Maps are Crime Alley; Scarecrow Nightmare; Totally Insane and Nocturnal Hunter (both from the Insane Night Map Pack).

Recettear is part of the Indie Story pack.

Also, has anyone here played Kane and Lynch 2 on the PC? If so, how is the port?

If you already have Batman just get the two extra maps for $6.

If not get this GotY today!

Insane map pack mentioned is free. The other two are $2.99 each

Buy Puzzle Quest 2 - 10-Pack - 29,99€ - do you think there will be 10 people wanting to give 3 bucks for this? I-m up for it!

That for $5 PLUS four other games!?

Off: what's so good about that game? BTW, And Yet It Moves is awesome - just so you know. There's also a quick look on Giant Bomb.

Glorious!

'Cause of my dang crappy internet I can never buy the cheap modern games..

My holiday sales end up paying $100NZ rather than the usual $130 for anything from the last year or two

I put Recettear in my wishlist and then saw it's five bucks with other interesting titles. I already own Gish and And Yet It Moves, but you can't beat the price for Recettear.

Awesome. I was really hoping for a good price on that game, but now with 4 others?

Yeah, the Indie Story Pack is a pretty amazing deal. $60 worth of games for $5.

Get Recettear! Do it now!

Wow. AYIM, Recettear, Puzzle Agent, and Gish for $5? So very sold.

Sounds about right. I hadn't heard of all the other games, but, might as well...

I wasn't sure about the Story pack, having bought yesterdays indie pack and being super disappointed. But from what you guys are saying it's well worth it. Sold (it's only 5$, I've spent a lot more on a lot more worthless things.)

I was waiting for Recettear to hit below $7 so this is a gift form heaven.

Me too, if you guys don't mind me paying in real money, instead of Europeland Fun Bucks.

I'm in.

We are 5 for now, come on people!. I wonder, does the buyer get a copy or does he have to send all of them? Puzzle Quest 2 for 3$/Euro, how is that not filthy cheap?

What the hell, I'm in on the Puzzle Quest pack.

liquid, you can always "give" one to yourself. =) People do that all the time, actually.

Five requests in 90 minutes is pretty good; I have no doubt you'll fill up your list. [edit: six!]

I'll jump in on puzzle quest as well if you're still down a few. I'd also do the Left for Dead one if we want to get a few folks together. How are handling the monies?
