The (Boogle Memorial) Dating Advice/Tips Thread

Yep, all women are crazy as hell... that's why we love them... to death.... slowly... a piece at a time.

I think most of the people in this thread understood that some others were venting their frustrations and that there's no need to pick apart any of their points.

Jumping on people and kicking them in the balls for badly chosen wording isn't really helpful.

Eh, it's possible I over-reacted to people talking sh*t about the kind of women I've cared about and who have treated me well.

Jumping on people and kicking them in the balls for badly chosen wording was helpful to me (and maybe the thread--it did prevent it from turning into yet another internet sausage fest of Female Doggoing about women) in that it made me feel better: I guess I was just venting my frustration with their frustration venting ;- D

Heh, it's understandable. :p But we've all been there, I'm sure. When a relationship goes bad one tends to lash out, frequently unfairly.

Or when you've had a series of bad experiences that seem to have the same thing in common.

The thing with this thread is it's got through some pretty controversial stuff, yet survived to 55 pages because most of the time people have stayed calm and not taken offense to potentially offensive things, or become overly critical.

It would be a damn shame to see it descend into a circle of nit-picking.

Feminists never find it funny when I ask them how their riveting career is going.
I personally find it hilarious.

The problem is when we lash out we sometimes explain events to ourselves in ways that are counter-productive. Or we blame others when maybe there's something wrong with ourselves we either can't--or won't--deal with.

It is the Advice/Tips thread, not the Group Hug thread, right?

Trust me, I know.

I wouldn't call it nit-picking. ;- D

True, but sometime you need to be a little gentle.

You didn't say anything fundamentally wrong, but sometime getting all up in someone's grill is counterproductive.

Oh boogle, and you wonder why you don't get laid.

That is hilarious though.

Wrong thread. Unless you were looking to annoy more than just Boogle. In which case, good job.

Don't mind me.. these threads kind of run together for me. Guess I was just due to step on my dick in public.

Don't worry about it, we all pull a boner every once in awhile.

And when we don't, that's when we come in the wrong place.

I think this one has run out of steam.
