WoW BHA Raid Schedule 10/5 - 10/11 - Raids Posted!

Commentary
-------------
Let me preface this by saying that I am trying to honor everyone's scheduling wishes; I am trying both to schedule people for runs they want, and to not schedule people for things they don't want. If someone says "I want to do X" without saying that they are willing to help with anything, I am not scheduling them for other things. I have spoken to a few people for clarification, and that has led me to conclude that that is the right method.

ICC - I did not see a Lich King group happening with our varied availabilities this week. It seems like a lot of people are scaling back their WoW time, which is understandable given the lateness of the expansion, and the all-consuming fervor that will likely consume us come Cataclysm. So until we get scheduling syncronicity amongst a suitable composition of raiders who are appropriately geared, I will continue to suggest (as with last week) runs aimed at gearing people up. Perhaps we can get some of the up and comers geared for LK in time.

Ulduar 10 - Again, people's availability is getting more scarce. I know there are people who want to do Ulduar Hard Modes who aren't in the current group, and I really want to accommodate them. Unfortunately, we don't seem to have the bodies for a second group until the first group is finished. Or possibly until we get our Lich King kill, which is our top raid priority right now - conceivably we might get our guild kill, and then cut ICC down to a once a week run for fresh 80s and alts, leaving more time for proto-drake farming. The thing about that is that people aren't signing up to kill the Lich King in sufficient numbers, and/or our available days don't coincide.

There are also people who want to do Ulduar regular, for the experience, but I don't know that there are enough of them - but if anyone wants to organize any raid that doesn't conflict with the official schedule, please do! I know there was an Ony run on Sunday, and I think that's fabulous.

Grinders is scheduling next week, btw. I would love to see everyone sign up for not only the raids they want, but also express willingness to try and get a full-guild Lich King kill.

Edited

Looks like a good schedule to me, Fed. Thanks for sorting it all out!

Also, when did we suddenly become a guild than had three shaman for a 10 man? It's like cats and dogs living together!

I hadn't even realized we had one of each flavor in that run. Just trying to make sure each run has the right mix of tanks/heals/ranged/melée.

Btw as always, if I made any mistakes, feel free to point them out in a friendly manner! I tried to come up with a plan that lets the guild accomplish as much as possible, and gets as many people into raids as we can.

To anyone who didn't get the run that they wanted (particularly if they had a pretty decent availability) - sorry I couldn't find a way to work the schedule out; hopefully next week. I think it goes without saying that Forshay is first in line for the next Ulduar HM group, or if it turns out that a DPS is unable to make it on Sunday.

I've got Yewen for Tuesday. I have double-checked that I'm not in any other run this week, to avoid the embarrassment of last week.

FWIW I just saw a blue post on MMO-Champion that no raid mounts are being removed in patch 4.01.

EDIT: This means that the Ulduar Proto-Drakes should still be there for, I would guess, the rest of October and November.

For future reference, I'll go HM right off the bat. I've been doing my homework
I'll make sure to note that for the next sign-ups.

Edit:
Monday night we need some people for a Naxx run. Please post here if interested.

I am trying my best to get geared up ASAP. I do know the Ulduar fights as well if a 2nd group or a sub is needed in the future.

Thank you so much Fed for the consideration and thought you put into forming this stuff each week.

I am excited to try my legs in ICC 10 with this toon and see what kinda numbers I can pump out.

Is anyone else having issues connecting?

Welcome to maintenance day!

We have a last-minute opening for a DPSer for tonight's 7:30 ICC. Preferably someone who has decent ICC experience, etc. Obviously only for someone not scheduled for Thursday.

I can bring someone.

AVG has been interfering lately. Disable it for 10 min and you can connect without issue.

You're a saint!

EDIT: That was directed at Finn.

Jerk!

EDIT: That really was directed at YOU!

I just wanted to again say thank you to everyone in raid last night. It was awesome being able to get my toon into ICC and get some leet drops and even able to wipe the raid while there

*Double Clicked*

Cheeto you're a noob on so many levels!

For those of you NOT in Sunday's Uld run, myself and a few others will be running the weekly this evening around 8ish server.
Also, don't forget to sign up for the Monday Naxx run. We need bodies badly!

And if you are in Sunday's Ulduar run, do not be silly and run the weekly on the toon that is scheduled for Ulduar! The boss that the weekly is for (RS) is still alive in our instance, btw.

It was a fun run. Thanks for letting me get my DK in for the weekly, too.

Not going to make the weekly run.

Guys I might be a little late fir tonights run. Can't beat the Atlanta traffic.

For the Ulduar crew tonight, please review Tankspot's Yogg 10 One Light video on youtube if you haven't already.

And as a gentle reminder, there are clouds.... do not touch them.

So, we have Freya up rather than Thorim. Did the conventional wisdom on that choice change since we have so much better gear now, or are we going to potentially have a problem with the guardians in phase 3?

The idea is that your tank can live longer against the Immortal Guardians and that Freya is a "stronger" raid buff between the Sanity wells and healing.

Brain Team peeps enjoy sanity wells, fwiw, Zero. We take a lot of sanity loss inside.

Immortal Guardians hurt!
PS - god bless you wonderful healers that kept me alive for that

Well, since no one else is posting pictures.

The kill shot:

Our just rewards:

And don't forget, the key to success is being sure to prepare properly:

Oh, and while I was digging through my screenshot directory I found the shot from my first Yogg +4 kill (I think it was the guild's second kill?)

Look at that hideous gear!

Thanks for posting them Zero. Thank you to all who helped on getting these achievements. Hopefully we can get another group of GWJ the nice reward.
