Blade Kitten - anyone bought the full game?

I gave the Blade Kitten demo (on Steam) a whirl last night and had a blast with it. The game feels like the illegitimate love child of a SNES-era Castlevania game and Donkey Kong Country.

The trial level was huge, and filled with shinies to gather and secret treasures to find. Also - and despite the crappy keyboard controls - I found that exploration in the game felt really organic, and it was a tonne of fun to crawl up walls and discover all sorts of nooks and crannies.

So a question: has any bought this, and if so does the full game hold up to the promise that's in the demo level? I'm strongly tempted to drop the $15 on the PS3 version, but would appreciate a second opinion.

I also had a playthrough of the demo and had a bit of fun with it. It's kind of annoying that they say all the tokens/currency you'll be collecting are for a shop, but the demo ends before you get to one. I guess my problem is that I don't know the full scale of what I'm getting.

I think I read somewhere that BK is episodic or will get DLC, so I'm waiting for a bit more info on their future plans. £10 (over here) is a nice price, but a sale puts it into impulse purchase territory.

Didn't this game have some sort of high-minded goal to aid in game development or the like, which no one notices because it has a cat girl? I'd like to know how that turned out.

Link?

I bought the full game. IMO, it's totally worth the 15 dollars, but YMMV. For anyone still on the fence, I'd wait until a Steam sale.

If I had the link on hand I would have posted that instead of asking the question.

If by 'high-minded' you mean 'distract the fanboys by showing super campy anime writing and catgirls' then 110% success.

If you can put up with the super-over-the-top-animeisms the game's actually quite fun. Controls are a bit funky sometimes. PC version doesn't control all that well with the default control choices so I'd recommend using a gamepad if you have one, or just going for a console version. Exploration is rewarding. Graphics are nice enough but I think it's limited to a lower framerate because of the cel-renderer they use. (I noticed the framespeed sluggishness on the 360 demo at PAX).

Haven't had much chance to put any time in. I'm scared to try it on my awful Lattitude e4300, and I won't be at a proper gaming PC til the weekend to give it another shot, time permitting.
