RIP, Stephen J Cannell

Aw. I love it when a plan comes together.

First thing I thought of:

Ah, come on, Death. Lay off famous people for a while.

Or at least pick one of the hundreds who actually deserve it.

Please someone put Ben Affleck at the top of Death's "To Do" List.

Rockford Files, still a great show. Netflix keeps my childhood memories alive.

But there's more famous people around these days! If there were fewer, it wouldn't happen as much.

As long as Matt Damon is ahead of him on that list.

I dunno if the Grim Reaper wants to mess with Jason Bourne....

The shaky cam alone will make the Grim Reaper sick.

I was always amazed that he was able to do what he did with a severe case of ADHD. I remember years ago an interview he did with, I think, 60 Minutes where he spoke about his time in school and how he was able to write all of his scripts. His shows may not have been the highest form of art, but they were one hell of a fun time.

It amazes me that people like this are taken, and Lindsay Lohan gets another crack at rehab.

It truly is still a great show. I think my love of detective fiction began with watching Rockfish back in the Seventies, and I guess I have Mr. Cannell to thank for that.

Sad news. Dude made his mark.

Indeed. He practically was TV in the late 70s and throughout the 80s.

I mentioned this to my coworker and he had no clue who Cannell was... And then I found out he has never seen the "A Team." I, of course, gave the only reasonable response :"Get the f*ck out."
