WoW BHA Monday Night Crew - Ruby Sanctum Tonight 12/6! Farewell to WotLK

I'm down for any of the 5 man heroic cheevos; I can bring protadin awesomeness or shammy healiness.

I keep forgetting to add you to my pally's friend list. I wish FLs were account-based, since I have you on my DK. I'll make a note to add you tonight.

My Shaman and Sigsbee's priest still need some of those achievements, so look us up when you start them.

Looks like everyone made the big push over the weekend.

We have room for one more if anyone else would like to do the quest/achievement/make some easy gold.

I also saved up a bunch of group quests from Dragonblight (and mentioned as much to Cheeto and Cayle). I suspect if we hit them all we'll probably all see at least another half level or so go by pretty quickly.

Well the good news is I pushed hard and got to 75 and saw the gnomergon event. The bad news is I will not be on tonight NOR next week!!!! I phail.

I have to do training classes both nights. Next week it is possible I will make it on an hour after u guys start (that is 9 for me, but i do not know what time we actually start server time... i just know its 8 for me hehe)

I am sorry guys, I hope to push again this weekend and get at least 2-3 more levels... I know that is kinda ambitious, but i am going to try.

Whatever shall I do without someone to constantly steal aggro from me? Good luck with the training Cheeto.

How did last night go? Updates?

I missed the 'flipper' from one of them so need to redo... can do with you Cheeto if you still need achievement. Other to that it was all good. Eod helped us out. Not sure what is going on for next week though.

The Amphitheater of Anguish quest was borked in our group for some reason. Some got credit while others did not. We basically did the entire thing 2+ times :).

The flipper comes from some giant deranged sea lion near that area. Let me know Cayle, and I'll come help you finish that quest whenever. It wont take long at all.

Have not decided what to do next week yet, or the week after for that matter. Any suggestions?

Mainly I'd like to keep it casual and fun. And hopefully pick up a few more people on the server to join us.

There's been some talk of running some old raids in the guild.
Also, achievement farming for mounts/titles/virtual coolness.

Edit to add: I finally got a weapon I like better than the purple sword I've been tanking with for something like 5 weeks. Tell me this isn't sexy: Hammer of Quiet Mourning

Spiky!

If you get to 80 soon, I'd like to set up an old raid night for some folks to run with you on Monday nights. Maybe do some Ulduar achievements.

Coincidentally, that's also one of the options we were talking about last night.

While it might be easier to get groups together to hit old vanilla or BC raids (since the comp requirements will be a LOT more loose), we definitely have a decent number of players right now starting to raid who haven't seen Naxx, Ulduar, or even ToC (other than the weekly quest targets, of course) so it might be fun to organize a run or two on those raids so folks can see the current expansion content before Cataclysm arrives.

Also, another thing to keep in mind is that 4.0.1 (the patch with mechanic changes for Cataclysm, but not the world changes) is now on the PTR, which means we may be seeing that on live sooner rather than later. Supposedly by and large those mechanic changes should result in us becoming even more overpowered for current content, making it even easier to put together ad-hoc groups to go sight seeing.

I like this idea a lot, but I also don't want to rush the rest of the crew to 80. We've had a very natural progression to our current level (save for last weekend, and a few other scrambles in the last few months). I should hit 80 by Monday and be in 2pc T9 by Wednesday. I'm VERY interested in tanking, or at least seeing Uld and Naxx though.

It is kind of a tough place for everyone with Cat somewhere between 7 and 10 weeks out.

It is also worth noting that I'd like to start these shenanigans over once Cat drops.

I will try to push as hard as I can in free time and see if i can get 80 soon. I would LOVE to do this kind of stuff with you all.

We're certainly hoping you will.

And yeah, I'd like to get my shaman to 80 as soon as possible too, but, well, Halo came out today so I may fall behind. No real problem there though -- if you guys hit 80 before me and start doing raids, I'll happily just bring my hunter along until I catch back up.

I will try and get Darken to 80, although saying that Cayle has not done a lot of these so would be interested in taking her. let me know what you guys think.

I'd say just continue playing the one you like to play the best. Unless you you have alt-itus, then you just play them both. If you aren't enjoying the DK's play style at 75 then then I don't think much will change once you get to 80.

One thing you might try, if the playstyle (up in "the mix" right by the tank whoopin on baddies) is fun enough, but the rotation or concept doesn't suit you, you could respec. The first thing I'd say to try is stick with your current build, but drop all the points out of Reaping and put them somewhere else. No Reaping will more-or-less solidify your rotation, and you'll be much less hindered by amount of runic power or rune cool-downs. Otherwise for a big change of pace you could try a Blood spec.

However if if hanging back and letting Trouble get in "the mix" while you rain death from above is more your thing, then by all means stick with your hunter.

Blood DPS is boring. Get diseases up, DS to get death runes, HS until your finger bleeds.

If you don't like unholy, pick up a couple of cheap 1H swords and try frost DW. It's a much more dynamic rotation that either Blood or Unholy, and is my personal favorite DPS spec.

Would you guys be interested in hitting some BGs tonight? Some organization in WSG could go a long way. I healed and damage-sponged some BGs over the weekend and really had a good time. Got most of the way through 79 on BGs alone.

If not, did anyone pick up any more group quests?

I am game for that Lock, sign me up. Let me know what time etc.
~Cayle~

I'd be game for that, although I can't in any way promise to be any good at it.

As for group quests, not really. The next bit swath of them is in Icecrown, but I only made it to about 2/3rds of the way through level 76 and did most of my questing in Sholazar (where there is only one or two real group quests from what I recall).

I get flag-you heal me-I bubble you-Cayle Death Grips, Strangulates, Freezes- We win- Rinse repeat

Actually folks, there is a strong chance I will make it tonight. I will be on BY 8:30 (my time...est) at the latest... I very well could be on by 8 for the actual start time. I would totally BG as well, so I can quest during queue and pwn some BG's with you all.

I'm really looking forward to you band of fun fellows hitting 80. Occasional PvP nights would be right up my alley, too!

Where was the next batch of group quests? Icecrown?

Yeah. There are a few in Storm Peaks, but a LOT in Icecrown.

While I definitely want to get my shaman to 80 as soon as possible, I also want to see your pally get geared quickly. So any time I'm on and you need a DPSer to help burn through quests or heroics, just let me know and I'll bring the hunter along.

I hit the big ding yesterday Once I calm down my heroic farming (sometime next week I hope) I'd love to get in on some PvP action.

WSG was pretty fun last night. Wish we could've run it again before I graduated. I'd love to be "the tank your tank should smell like" for any group quests or dailies you guys need throughout the week. Just let me know if you need a hand (of reckoning), or a faster queue. Otherwise see ya next Monday for possibly the last night of leveling together. I'm saving my fireworks and a hot /dance move for the celebration.

Woot--- another tank. Please see grindars/grinds/grinderz for any help in leveling up another tank. I can make prot gear on my blacksmith and could probably come up with some orbs for 245 gear.

I'm not super thrilled about the T9 set bonuses, and I'm swimming in orbs. Only prob is that I dumped most of my gold on epic flight and some gems for my shiny new pants. Should be back in "the black" early next week, but by then I'll be in almost all tier gear if I keep a steady heroic-eyebleeding pace, and ride on some coattails for the weekly.

The set bonuses from T9 aren't all that fantastic, but the gear itself is solid. I'm working tonight, but feel free to hit me up for a healer tomorrow if you're interested and/or can't find anyone
