Sons of Anarchy Catch-All (*Spoilers*)

I watched this weeks episode twice now, it just gets better. Such an action packed non action week.

2 episodes left this season actually has me upset.

I thought it was 1?

No what they said was misleading, they said ONLY 1 MORE EPISODE, until the season finale.
Threw me for a loop at first as well.

Yeah, one more normal, then another 90-minute episode for the season finale.

Tricksy commercialsies!!

OK, so next week is the finale? Cause I feel rather blue balled over all of this. I want Henry Rollins to bleed.

Just finished watching this week's episode. I was all jittery the whole time. I just hope Sack (Prospect) doesn't get nixed, they were just talking about him getting his colors and everything.

This show has one of the most interesting premises on tv right now. Definitely nice to see some different stuff.

While I enjoyed the scenes with Tig, I'm kind of pissed at the fart in the wind non-resolution of Donna's murder. Clay virutally ignoring Piney's taking a shot at him rings in the same hollow way.

In my view, the only thing that will satisfy Opie openly waiving his right to vengance was if it's part of some larger plot between him and Jax to bring down Clay. I got a hint of that with their private conversation prior to the sit down.

I dunno, I'm just thinking the truth about John Teller is really what's supposed to bring down/revolutionize the Sons and the writers are bludgeoning us in that direction. Still my favorite show on TV right now. I can forgive a few plot twists. I just think those two were way out of character.

Opie's not a planner/schemer the way that Jax is, though, and we've already seen that he's not built for life as a nomad (when he isolated himself from the club after his wife died). He needs the club, maybe more than any of the others do, and he has decided to do whatever is necessary to maintain it. Even if it means okaying Clay to kill his dad, or riding alongside the people who killed his wife. That's what makes Opie such an interesting character to me, the nihilism of his decisions. He's much truer to the meaning of the club's name than Jax will ever be.

God I love this show.

Spoiler:

Really?!?!?!?!

f*cking hell...

Dammit, Sutter! Why do you hate me so?

Wow. Just wow.

QFT

...Well, that was pretty unanticipated.

Does anyone think it is realistic to think that Sons of Anarchy may receive a Emmy nomination? If so....what category?

The continued Emmy accolades heaped on Entourage show that they don't know sh*t, but if I were in charge, I'd put up Katey Segal. Honestly, I didn't watch a whole lot of stuff this year, so I can't really provide an honest opinion--the only other "drama" I really watched was Fringe, and SoA beats that--but Segal was good enough I feel I can say "even without seeing the other performances this year, I can say this was a stellar one."

I'm not familiar with what awards Entourage has won, but any revolving around Piven's portrayal of Ari Gold seems to be well-justified.

To answer the original question, I think it's entirely possible for them to get a few emmy nods. Wins would be another discussion though.

It is a crime that this show did not get a single Emmy nomination.

Season premiere is tonight.

Seems like forever since the last season ended. Really looking foward to some real TV finally being back on again !!

The least they could have done is let Hulu rerun the last season as a refresher, like, you know, just about every other show worth watching. All I remember is that Silas Adams stole Jax's baby. Reviews keep mentioning that Peg Bundy is accused of 2 murders, but I can't recall anything about whose murders they are.

Still, can't wait.

Spoiler:

The son of the Irish gun smuggler, that's the reason for the baby snatching, and (I think) his girlfriend the daughter of the white supremacist.

Ok, that's jogging some memories. Thanks.

Edit: For reals?

1- LEM!
2- TRIXIE!
3- .....holy sh*t...

I'm so glad this show's back.

Spoiler:

Yeah, the elder Irish gun smuggler heard the ATF agent's radio call about Gemma killing Polly and Edmond. Gemma only actually killed Polly (daughter of the nazi/supremicist Zobell), the ATF agent tricked Gemma into grabbing her sidearm after she had shot and killed Edmond.

On another note, I'm kinda disappointed because i ended up going out drinking and totally forgot about the season premiere.

The scene got gratefully recapped in the extensive "Last Season On..." bit.

Too bad you missed it, it was highly awesome. Is FX still repeating their new episodes constantly through the week, or do they think they're all grown up now?

Holy sh*t, that was awesome, and worth the wait.

Back off Katey, I want Kurt's babies.

Sidenote that I learned from my buddy after bullsh*tting about SOA after watching the last episode; I never realized that the series creator/writer was Big Otto.

Not really a spoiler but,

Spoiler:

How much money/favors would you try to extract from an outlaw motorcycle club if their on-the-run matriarch stabbed you downsouth after she tried to steal your truck?

Not much, as they can always play the we have a hole already ready.

He's also Mr. Peg Bundy.

As to your spoiler: From those guys? Scary ass Ron Perlman growling an offer at me? I'd take what they offered and count my blessings.
