Indeed. I think the biggest problem with snipers in this game is that they aren't as easy to kill as they should be and the amount of damage they do is out of proportion with the style of game this is. It just seems... off.

That was fun last night, even with my utter sucking. Incidentally, this is a sentence that I deeply hope is never taken out of context. Anyways, I'm lousy, but it was lots of fun. I'm not sure what was worst--recognizing that some guy had named himself after an item from Pokemon games (Wailmer Pail, thank you, my eight-year-old son, for teaching me all about Pokemon even if I don't want to know about it), or actually being killed several times by someone who named himself after a Pokemon item.

I hope to play enough to one day aspire to mediocrity, instead of being actively awful.

It's great how I pay attention to what day posts were made. Everyone point and laugh at the stupid

Yeah we ran into some tough teams last night. We definitely need to have a better plan for overtime, that's when we're a little susceptible. We still did better than .500 though. To all the new/inexperience people, have no fear, we'd still love to have you play with us!

Yea, that was a bit surprising. Seemed almost like the opposing plan was to wait for overtime and then quickly race to the core and hit the juice.

In related news, I've been tinkering with a juice-focused Gunner build after our stomping the other night. Can't make it work though, even with the boosts I'm not actually good enough to trigger juice with consistency.

I didn't get to play much on the weekend, but I've been thinking about the tied-OT scenario as well. It might be worthwhile for the entire team to go Gunner a minute or two before OT and just swarm the enemy base. A couple guys get into position and shoot the ball from above, everyone else just causes chaos in the ball area. Because no matter how well your base is guarded, someone is always going to get through and do a bit of damage, putting the pressure on... so why not preempt that with a full offensive rush?

I've been strongly thinking of getting this but need people to play with. Guess I'll have to send out some invites and see if I can get in on the action. Liked the little bit I played in the demo and you guys are making it sound like a lot of fun

I plan to play some of this tonight. Should the opportunity arise I'm going to take that invitation to crash whatever party is going when I get on

Also, I finally had a good round of this the other night. Everybody on my team picked a different class, and I was the only one that went support. I had a couple of fully upgraded longshot turrets pretty quickly, and was scoring assists and all kinds of stuff. Went 19/4. Felt pretty great.

I tried Gunner after that and got slapped around for an entire game

Unfortuantely I don't get home until 10pm PST Mondays :(. Tomorrow is out for me too, but I am definately wanting in on the action. Hopefully some people will be playing on Wednesday. I added my name to the spreadsheet. Feel free to friend me up.

I got on later than expected and tried to get into three public games in a row, at which point the servers crashed and booted me back to the menu. I gave up. Hey, guys, if you're building a multiplayer online game, maybe you should think about the whole "online" portion of it. Pro tip and all.

Count me in. I've been busy with stuff the last few days, but I'll be on tonight.

I missed out yesterday - got sucked into watching TV with the missus, then sucked into some Red Dead multiplayer with a buddy.

I'll see if I can't get on tonight for some action.

I will try my best to be on at 9 tonight.

I won't be able to show up until 9:30 or later, but I'll give it a shot if there is an open space.

I might try to get on later. Had a deadline at work that had me a bit stressed, so I haven't been playing shooters for the last few days.

Got to do some stuff after work, though.

I saw a Justin.tv live stream from the devs on their twitter feed a bit ago, so I had it running in the background as I was finishing up a few things. They said that they will be working on DLC and bug fixes. DLC will most likely include maps.
