For Support I go Gold = Armor, Silver = Skill, and Bronze = Speed. It's worked out well so far.
For Support I have the Gold sponsor that increases the skill regen rate (more airstrikes), but I think that's default anyway. Not sure about the other ones.
That means that everyone should hop on tonight at 9:30 pm eastern!
I'll be on again tonight, but probably a little later than that... closer to 10:30 or 11.
For most of the classes I go Skill/Armor/Rate of Fire.
I've switched up my Gunner endorsements to combat assassins. I add armor as gold, which greatly reduces the chance of a grapple death. As long as I survive the grapple, my slam generally = dead assassin.

You, sir, are a genius. I am so doing this when I get a chance to play again.

I've got armor in silver, and I still seem to survive about half/two-thirds of assassin attacks.
Discovery of the night: That other gun that the Gunner has? That grenade launcher. Yeah, it's much better at taking out firebases and turrets than the chain gun.
Duh.
I learned this when I had a whole life in one game where the lag prevented me from using my chain gun at all.

I think with the exception of the assassin, every class has a decent Anti-turret gun or skill
Like for any tank users the rail gun (his secondary) works wonders against firebases while his primary is good against all other turrets if you can get point blank without dying
I think I'll be checking this out. XBL in sig.
As far as I know, there's no stat tracked for games lost, or even percentage of games won. There is, however, a kill/death stat that appears on the first screen of the locker room. But I don't think you can look at other peoples' statistics, so I don't see how anyone would even care about that stuff.
There's a leaderboard which can be viewed from the main menu and while waiting to respawn which details game-wide rankings according to several different filters- including total wins and total kills. It's just a little confusing because the default filters are set to only show your progress.
The top five or six players on the leaderboards have ridiculous scores- many factors higher than anyone else. They must be devs.
It looks like my persistent connectivity issues have finally cleared up (really, Qwest, I was on a "busy server" so you switched me over, maybe you should monitor that sort of thing so I don't have two months of dropped connections before you notice it after I call you five times) so I'm going to have to look at this as well. Looks darn amusing.
I'm really enjoying the game. As people have noted above, Support is "the class." My best round yesterday: 24 kills 21 assists and 2 deaths. Two supports working together are nearly unstoppable. I have to think they will nerf some of the support abilities.
Edit: I have not seen a lot of people on my friends list playing (other than Staats), but feel free to invite me if you need an extra hand.
I would go so far as to say that this is my favorite MP game in quite some time. It's not better than BFBC2 for me, but stretching back it's the most fun I've had this gen, otherwise. Even with pubbies it's alright so far. The ability to play a tower defense style game at the same time as you play a version of TF2 is pretty awesome. I'm really enjoying just running around healing people and towers.
Much more fun than I had in TF2. I know, sacrilege. I did play on 360, though, so there is that.

The assassin's smoke bomb will stun turrets, so she can just walk up and wail on them. Her shuriken also do excellent damage against them.
Just DL this. Great fun.
Same tag on 360 - Edxactly.
How do you hack turrets with support?
Stand next to them and hold X. At first you have to be practically touching the turret, but the distance increases as you upgrade.
Holy crap but I suck at this game. Still, it's great fun.

Last night's competition seemed to have ramped up a bit. I think the player population might be starting to weed out some of the casuals.
I think we only lost once when we were all together, though. We're still #1!
Earlier in the night when there were only 3 of us, we lost
I finally got around to playing this last night, just did some single-player to get the hang of the different classes. Fun stuff, will try to get on tonight to play some actual multiplayer.
I also believe I shepherded a group of rag tag pubbers to a cheap overtime victory over you guys when I got split off :)
Yeah that was pretty obscene
Also if anyone see's a party playing with 6 players jump into party chat anyway - if there are 8+ players on we can always set up a private match
Fun games last night. My suckitude is still strong, but dropping bombs on people's heads is something I'm enjoying immensely.
I'll be back. /Arnold
Hoo-wee.
Thus far, I'd exclusively played Gunner. Tried out Assassin and Assault briefly last night, and I don't think I got a single kill with either. Spent that game randomly pressing buttons to see what they do, then getting stomped.
Think I might need to try out new classes offline before I grace my team-mates with my 'experiementation'.
Also, snipers suck ass.

I must agree - carrotpanic sniped me at will the other night. Still a great time - really enjoying this game. Great playing with the goodjers too (though the pub matches I've had have been surprisingly enjoyable too).
