Hey guys,

This is Donut! I'm trying to arrange a S&T sometime between Thursday, Oct 21st ~ Monday, Oct 25th. This is my 1st time coming to Canada! I'm super excited!! (I'm going to my 1st Canadian hockey game! WOO HOO!)

Come and meet all the Goodjers irl! It'll be fun! Please suggest where to go or what to do..... I have no clue.....@_@

Thanks a bunch!

Looking forward to this event. =D

Oh Donut, you know you'll have me as a guide.

And providing Canucks tickets.

For the S&T I suggest a weekend and at my place.

I'm in. The last (inaugural?) S&T was small but successful.

I suggest we wreck Vector's sh*t. Also, Halloween theme?

Count me in.

Oh Stone, she's my age.

I too suggest wrecking my sh*t. Hey wait...

Anyway, I have a large backyard a fairly central location (57th and Granville), Rockband and Guitar Hero(es), and a whole smattering of whatever else I can come up with.

Can't predict at the moment what point I'll be in the immigration process, but barring any complications that would prevent me from attending I'll be there : )

Want to hug the Donut!

For anyone coming into Canada from the US or elsewhere, be sure to apply for passports/passport renewals soon as it can take anywhere from 6 weeks to 3 months. Lot of people applying this time of year to get them before the holiday season.

Yeah! I just renewed mine! Only took 3 weeks! =) Maybe they have special process for ppl who are 5 ft or under. hha

You must not be over this tall (5') to enter Canada. Do not make eye contact with the Moose. Do not not stand up at a hockey game.

Nice! Renewals are usually way faster and easier, I've heard. 6week/3mo. estimation was for brand new apps, shouldn't have lumped the two together. My bad!

I am in!

I didn't realize you were so close, Vector - I'm at 29th and Granville!

I can bring some sh*t we can wreck too so Vector won't feel bad about his sh*t.

Awesome! I just moved here in May.

I told Donut about Wreck Beach. She doesn't want to see old man balls. I told her she doesn't have a choice.

MIMBLE! Where have you been? I've missed you.
I didn't realize you were so close, either. Damn! I'll have to really be sure to make this one, then : )

Getting married is all about the commitment to one day see old man balls.

just got my tickets!

It's a bit longer now. 20th -> 25th

hehehehe

Lift and separate.

Ill be there! You guys are over at Granville? Me and I think Gravey too live over west at Dunbar.

Any ideas where we could go? I know a great sushi place.

I wanna go:

Capilano Suspension Bridge
Grouse Mountain, The Peak of Vancouver
and Build-a-bear!

=D

Ill be joining up with you guys too!

The best way up Grouse Mountain is on the Grouse Grind, I hope you guys are up for that!

I have warned them about it. Her friend David wants to go hiking so that covers that.

You should check out the OMNIMAX Theater at Science World while you have a chance.

Only 11$ a movie. Ginormous screen, good times.

I was kidnapped by fairies (or something equally implausible) - I have no excuses. Life just got in the way of having fun.

This will be a great S&T - we'll climb Grouse, pass out, wake up, take the trolley back down and then drink until we pass out again.

I'm not sure if hungover and crippled is a fun weekend, but we won't know until we try!

Lets set up a date for the meet up!

Please see below:

Date:
- Friday, Oct 22 -Dinner time/Evening
- Saturday, Oct 23 -Evening

Where? (Somewhere downtown?)
- Vector's place
- Fast food/restaurant type of place
- Bar w/pool tables, foods-balls & etc
- Lounge
- Game shop- Drexoll Games Inc

It'll be about 15 ppl total? There will be more than ONE GIRL! Vector is bring all his girlfriends....pimp!

Please let me know what ya think.

Thanks!

Mimble and I are both totally ladiez too, yo ; )
I'll confirm attendance as soon as I get my passport back from immigration (if they ever give it back...damn).

With enough heads up, we can drive or train up from Seattle. It's only $25 on Amtrak each way and I love Vancouver.

I vote for pool, though pool halls are notoriously hard to find in Vancouver (at least, i haven't found any that didn't *just* go out of business...

There's Imperial Games out in Richmond too and a good one that's on Main Street as well. We can go get our geek on. I've got a decent number of boardgames too that I can bring along. Maybe we can play Defenders of the Realm and I could know what it's like to win for once!

And if anyone was serious about Grouse (and I don't even know if the Grind will be open, but we can still go up Grouse and look at it) Kepheus and I now live in North Vancouver - so we can use this is our Grouse Mountain base, and then head to Vector's and wreck all his sh*t.

There are some decent pubs downtown where we can have food and drinks - I recommend Johnnie Fox's and then the bus ride to Vector's is pretty easy from there. There are other pubs too, but Johnnie's has the best mac and cheese ever.

Give immigration a kick in the pants!! Tell them you have a S&T to attend!

Woo hoo!! Get on the train - you'll have no shortage of places to stay for a couple of days!

GWJ couch surfing in Vancouver? That sounds like a recipe for fun drunken adventures.

My place is available to those that wish to crash.

I volunteered my place since I have Rock Band and Guitar Hero World Tour, two bathrooms, two living rooms (fire places for each), a huge back yard, noise isn't a concern, etc all that good stuff.

I live on W57th and Granville (Cartier). Which is kind of far away for some people.

Thats pretty far yeah. But our bus system is great so as long as you are close to a stop its no prob.
