There probably is.

Except Pink Flamingos traumatized me. Anyone who grew up watching Hairspray and Crybaby (my sister loved them - I swear!) is in for a rude awakening if they are expecting more of the same from Pink Flamingos.

Really? I like flamingos!

Got to share this

I'm the 2nd girl in from the left. The guy in the middle is Dave the Paramedic. The lump in the middle is My Friend Dave, who had previously been doing Jaeger bombs with me. Things went badly for My Friend Dave, and we had to call Dave the Paramedic, who (once asserting that Dave was probably not going to die) took this commemorative photo of the night for us all to remember for ever, and ever, until My Friend Dave gets heartily sick of the story.

Absolute legend of a night. Felt very bad for Cara's parents though (who you can just see in this picture) - this picture was taken at about 3:30am/4am after we'd been looking after Dave for roughly two hours in the kitchen as his condition deteriorated.

Just so you can actually see me - and so I can again reassert I'm a girl - another picture. I'm on the right - possibly another alcohol-fuelled night

VDO, not only are you hot, but you have hot friends too. That's bonus. I think as Geeks, all of us are given more cred by being able to include you in our ranks.

This thread is exactly where it should be.

You'll always be a red-faced smoker that sees through my soul and creeps me out in my mind, VDO.

I applaud your paramedic picture.

Now, is your friend in the middle Greek?

Can't she be both?

She's Bulgarian

Grenn wrote:

That's not just ANY red-faced smoker, that's Joseph Cotten, legendary actor (Citizen Kane, The Third Man, Shadow Of A Doubt, Touch of Evil, Tora Tora Tora I believe?) and mate of Orson Welles. [/filmnerd]

And I'm good with you hearing everything I say in his voice, lends me a bit of gravitas

I'm suddenly feeling very confused.

Bulgarians have very thin eyebrows, it seems.

VDO, I hope you framed that paramedic picture. Also, you are indeed a pretty lady.

Thanks! I'm definitely thinking of doing it, and Dave's birthday is coming up so I might get it framed for him

That post-Jager Bomb Bonanza picture is a classic. I think most of us have a Jager-related moment in time that we'd never ever like to revisit, but don't have such a timely and vivid piece of historical evidence. Dave is fortunate that he won't ever live that moment down in more ways than one.

I don't believe good experiences with Jager exist. That stuff is foul.

When you involve the bomb part and it's at the beginning or middle of the night then the experiences can be great...from what I can gather through pictures.

Can anyone give me a real recipe for a Jaegerbomb, actually? I don't think I was doing it right. Supermarket energy drinks are perhaps a no.

The Jaegerbombs go okay when you don't drink one and a half bottles of Jaeger, as the picture above illustrates.

Sadly I'm still nowhere near as photogenic as VDO or Joseph Cotten.

So fill enough of a pint glass or red cup to cover a shotglass with redbull.
Then drop in a shot of jager and chug.
Too sweet for my tastes, but if I'm looking to get somewhere I try the reverse jager bomb.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_j%C3%A4gerbomb_variations
Normally I just drink fight juice(wild turkey).

The "Irish Car Bomb" is probably the inspiration for every "Bomb" style drink and replaces the Red Bull with a 1/2 pint of Guiness and the Jäger with a shot that's 1 part Bailey's Irish Cream and 1 part Jameson's Irish Whiskey.

I have had VERY bad experiences (well not bad experiences just some things that should stay buried in the past) with Irish Car Bombs and in an actual Irish run pub located on the island of Okinawa.

As an aside I am offended that they associate Irish Car Bomb with a Jager Bomb. The ICB was first.
