League Of Legends Catch All

Yeah Wilbury was amazing in that second game he had a TON of kills.

Nathanial, on the other hand, was just terrible. As usual.

But seriously, we all did really well in that game once we started working together and kicking ass.

My first double digit kill game.

Are you implying there is something something wrong with child labor in gaming Mr. Crinkle?

There is when I don't have one working for me.

12 straight wins away from being 1:1 win loss ratio... thats coming back from a 60 loss deficit.

I'm just about to break even, I'm at 47/48 win/loss.

The weirdest thing is, it doesn't even feel like I've played 95 games.

i'm approaching 300 games... i didnt play but 1 or 2 practice games at the start. When i found out you got a reduced amount of IP i switched to the real ones, and of course paid the price by getting destroyed trying to learn the game.

Yeah, I had the pleasure of learning the game with a lot of you guys.

I've come up with an equation I call 'The Petriefied Theory'

Petriefied+your team=
Petriefied+enemy team=

It's a work in progress but it show a lot of potential.

You are forgetting the other equation of the day.

Amumu + Malphite + 2 DPS champions + Inanimate carbon rod =

I like playing with Gaald. He has massive, pendulous cojones. They get him into trouble sometimes, but we win team fights.

Okay, I love this game.
Demigod, you were my first, but League is the hotter chick who's a freak.
Dr. Mundo is great. I must purchase him and his hulk skin.

Don't call Nathanial an inanimate carbon rod, you'll give the guy a complex.

Win.

New secrets! heart of gold is made of awesome.

Not even my horrible playing skills can stop Petriefied from winning.

I will show you my carbon rod!

I need to give her a try... I've yet to use her.

Just finished the greatest freakin' round of League of Legends ever.

Us:
Rammus
Teemo (bad, moderate feeder)
Cho'Gath
Anivia (really bad but at least didn't feed)
Shaco (me)

Them:
Sion
Ashe
Morgana (good)
Nunu (good)
Yi (master of the backdoor)

Started off with the regrettable decision to let Anivia solo. I wound up top with Rammus. I had to sacrifice a life in the initial battle in order for us to kill both of our opponents. This was good for Rammus, but got me on the back foot early, which I am not used to. I had a rocky early game in which I wasn't dying, but I wasn't killing either. The Shaco ganks kept coming up just short; my targets would flee to the tower with a teeny fraction of HP and I'd have lost out on valuable farming time. Teammates were doing a fair job of tower pushing, but not so great at gank assists. By midgame we had their front 3 towers down, and we were slightly ahead on kills. My team starts pushing mid hard with the opponents all MIA and none of us above 10. Shaco expresses alarm and a desire to back the f*ck out, right now. Team ignores wise Shaco. Glorious battle ensues, and team gets pasted. Shaco escapes with a sliver of health. Team gets justifiably angry at Anivia for a truly godawful ice wall which allowed 2 opponents to escape.

My team fails to recognize that we're now on the back foot, and resumes playing the laning game. After some feeding in which I come close to losing my rag, the team slowly begins to grasp that we need to play defensive and regain the upper hand. Yi is in danger of becoming an absolute monster if fed any further. We go into D mode and win two successive 5v5's decisively. We do baron. Life seems good. Sadly, while pushing, Yi backdoors our bottom lane, shredding the tower and half of the inhibitor before we can get back home. Yi dies, but at great cost. We resume our push, swap a couple of lives, and are forced to retreat. Jungling ensues while both teams lick their wounds and await respawns. We push again. Yi backdoors bottom and gets the inhibitor with ease. Team ignores wise Shaco and two teleport back to home when there's no chance of saving the inhib. Opponents pick off straggling Rammus and Cho'gath with ease. Blink-invis saves Shaco again. Anger.

We respawn in time to beat back the enemy middle push, scoring two or three kills. We drive to the middle and get the tower, but are driven off by respawning opponents. Jungling and sitzkrieg ensues. It is clear that they must be doing baron. We sally forth and discover baron is spawned and unkilled, and the enemy is nowhere in sight. "Something is wrong" trap sense triggers. Shaco warns team not to do baron, to check jungle first. Cho'gath initiates on baron. Everyone runs in. Enemy team springs the trap, blinks/cc's/stuns/teleports/bazowboom POW our entire team is dead. Horror. Trash talking begins. Enemy charges hard for middle, destroys mid tower, mid inhibitor, bottom inhibitor, one crystal turret, and damages the last crystal turret to a tiny fraction. We respawn and drive them off. Enemy team all bombards us with GG's. f*ck that. It ain't over yet.

I leave on a ninja mission to backdoor their middle inhib. Team stays behind to drive off enormous creep waves in all lanes. Using jack in the box recon, I wait until I see them depart, run in, trigger doppleganger, and start going to town. I am slain by a lingering Ashe and Sion with a combo stun, but my double gets the inhibitor with its last attack before death. Glory!

Base defense goes on for awhile. Tentative pushes ensue without incident. Both of our inhibitors respawn.

A massive fight goes down in the middle lane. Teemo, Anivia, Cho, Nunu, and Ashe are slain. Morgana, Sion, and Yi advance on our middle while Rammus and I scramble back to heal and defend. Rammus and I pull off what can best be described as awesome ninja magic and somehow kill Yi and drive off the other two with the inhibitor still at half health. Their inhibitor respawns, my team respawns. Team starts pushing. I scream for them to screw the lanes and start backdooring middle and top. Team does not listen, and pushes top. Yi backdoors our bottom inhibitor but is driven off before he can kill the middle inhib. I backdoor the middle inhibitor, getting it about half dead before being driven off. Team keeps pushing top. I backdoor the bottom turret and finish it off, then am driven away. I keep bouncing back and forth between middle and bottom inhibs, going in, getting a swipe or two, then blinking away. Team keeps pushing top, which is now good as it can not be ignored. Giant fight goes down up top, during which time I get the middle and bottom inhibs and Anivia and Teemo are slain. Yi backdoors our crystal. We port back and kill him with 300 hp left on the crystal. Cho and I run hell for leather for their crystal while the others remain behind to defend. We reach the base, slay Nunu and Ashe, and start bringing down their towers with creep assistance. Sion and Morgana appear at our base and engage the defenders. All it will take is about 2 seconds of attacks to get our crystal. Cho and I are now hitting their crystal. Yi respawns and immediately ults and starts smacking me. I blink to the opposite side of the crystal, throw a jack, and resume hitting. Yi runs to me and resumes pounding but is feared by the jack when I have a health sliver so small that it isn't even visible on my bar. Teemo dies. We destroy their crystal. We win. GG.

In my history of gaming, that went down as one of the most satisfying wins ever. It came down to a second or two in the end. If Yi had gotten me, we would have lost the race. I really, really wish they had replays working.

Its nice to see a pub game that doesn't treat an inhibitor loss as an automatic loss.

New patch will bring a new champion this week who will be swapped out for Triss on the rotation.
It will likely be her: http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wik...
The patch will also bring new skins.

Edit: Also, http://www.leagueoflegends.com/board... =UFO Corky.

That ultimate of Poppy's looks pretty awesome.

Her passive: Any damage dealt to Poppy that exceeds 10% of her current health is reduced by 50%.
Seems way over the top.

Especially with her other passive ability: Upon being hit or attacking an enemy, Poppy's armor and damage are increased by a flat amount for 5 seconds. This effect can stack 5 times

She's going to be so damn hard to kill.

But, yeah, that ultimate seems really cool. Great for ganking single people in a group, especially coupled with that charge attack.

She seems like the sort of character you'd use to push pass the tanks and attack the ranged DPS champion before the rest of her team moves in.

I wonder if her passive ability is just physical damage or magical as well.

YAY another tank! Between Malphite, Sion i've really been digging them.

So it turns out that item effects DO work with Gangplank's parley shot. I tried it out with Executioner's Calling earlier today and it worked like a charm. The best part about EC on GP is that it hits with his passive for even more DOT damage. Beastly early and mid game.

I'll have to try it with the Tiamat's splash damage.

If this ability is instantly applied to every hit she gets, then it does seem a little OP (as much as I hate the term); this makes her an auto-tank.

Malphite has a similar ability: absorbs damage up to 10% of his maximum health. If Malphite has not been hit for 10 seconds, this effect recharges.

So its not that OP since its not 100% of dmg just 50%
