Nope, It's Slumberland's turn.

Best I can tell, there isn't. Ball's in Stryker's court for Slumberland's last image, and adam.greenbrier's court for MaxShrek's last image.

I guess give it a little bit and, if nobody bites, start a new one...?

Too long. When the sun sets and rises before someone posts and image, it's too long.

Going on instinct again.. the first thing that popped into my head was "Mr. Mom".

Correct.

That has David Lynch written all over it.

If I ever need a reminder that I'm not nearly as big a geek as I sometimes think... threads like this are perfect.

I watch what many would consider a lot of movies. I've seen only a tiny fraction of the films post in this thread, and an even smaller fraction of the movies posted in a similar (but much longer running) thread on another board. In that thread I gave up long ago when it went for roughly four pages without mention of any movie I'd even heard of before.

Yeah, I've seen a ton of movies, but most of the stuff put up in here are a bit before my time. I mean, I'm 29, so little known films from the 60's and 70's aren't exactly my thing. I mean "Two Lane Blacktop" . . . huh?

Eraserhead?

I will never recount how I came to see that movie. Sufficed to say it is burned in my memory FOR EVER.

Ding. I thought for sure that would take a little longer.

-edit-
Just saw this a few months ago. Easily one of the most disturbing movies I've ever seen.

Oh my god. I totally knew that, but I thought it was something else instead. I should've just said it instead of making a David Lynch comment. David Lynch + black & white = Eraserhead. *facepalm*

The story of Rommel ?

The Great Escape?

Edit: Is that James Coburn on the right? If it's not my guess is waaay off.

Esquire magazine declared the film its movie of the year for 1971!!!

I'm 33 but was a film major and have been making my living in film restoration, so this stuff accrues I guess.

Cross of Iron for Reaper's?

Ding ding ding.

It's a fantastic film. I was totally blown away with how good it was even though it's almost 80 years old. Fritz Lang is a genius and Peter Lorre (pictured) is creepy as hell.

That was a nice still from it too.

Is that the old Taking of Pelham 123?

*edit*
AH! TANNHAUSER'D!

This is what I get for leaving the thread open, refreshing, looking, walking away, and then posting an answer.

It's not Pelham 123.
