Monoprice Alternatives?

I know this has come up in other threads, but I'm in a bit of a rush.

A colleague of mine is trying to purchase two 75' Cat5e cables for his classroom. I suggested Monoprice, and they have what we need at a solid price, but a giant red WARNING thing popped up saying that shipping was severely delayed due to some sort of warehouse shift.

Not sure how long this delay will turn out to be, so I wonder if there is another site that is basically Monoprice.com yet NOT Monoprice.com? Any suggestions? And while we're at it, are there BETTER places to buy Cat5e cable?

Thanks.

Amazon is only a few bucks more than Monoprice on 100ft runs.

If you REALLY need the cable NOW, go to Lowe's or Home Depot, and get the network guy at your school to put the RJ-45 connector on both ends.

Actually, if you just need the cable in general...

And if you can't get the network guy to do it, Cat 5e (Cat 5e is really just 8-conductor unshielded) is pretty easy to make.

Was recommended in another thread. Looks like their 200' cables are $20.

I've got a local PC store called Dalco (www.dalco.com) that offers great pricing on network cables - maybe see if there something like that locally.

Find a local place that makes their own cable, usually they'll give you a good deal.

This. Last time I had to buy multiple extremely long runs of Cat5 (multiples of 75-100ft, actually) I went to a local shop. You pay by the foot and per connector, and they make the cables for you right then and there.
