I bought it back when it was still in production for $150.

If you spent more than 200$ for that Star Destroyer (currently 947$ on amazon) you are on crack.

It's only that expensive because they don't make the kit anymore.

I must confess. I like to use these types of threads to play, "Spot the Lotion Bottle".

Same here. It's a big tease considering I need to replace my desk chair.

Here's mine. Pretty spartan. I like blank walls for some reason:

My games are mostly in plastic bins in the closet. One or two like Bioshock and The Witcher have special places on bookshelves.

I'm blaming this thread for my recent monitor purchase.

That's an interesting CD printer you have there Montalban.

It's made by Lane, and it's a good, sturdy build. The leather, however, has some kind of false coloring on it that tends to come off easily. The chair is no more than two years old but looks like it's 15. If it weren't for the fact that it's much better than your typical office chair, i.e., the seat isn't made out of particle board and the bolts are actual bolts, I'd probably have replaced it by now. It is comfy, though.

I just moved in a few weeks ago, and haven't gotten around to mounting all of my wonderful paintings yet...

Keep your Copperhead. I bought a Lachesis and it sucks. I put it on the shelf and went back to the copperhead.

Whats wrong with it? Is it the shape?

Well, my problem with it was the thumb buttons. I rely on the thumb buttons for my PTT for TF2 and Ventrilo. Since my Vent and TF2 buttons are bound to 'V' I just have the thumb button emulate a 'V' keypress. Thing was, it sometimes wouldn't recognize me lifting my finger off the button, and the PTT would get stuck open. I figured out that it occurred if I happened to be clicking other buttons while holding down the PTT button, which happens frequently, because, you know, you still play even while you're talking.

This made the mouse totally unusable for me. If you use your thumb buttons for anything important, expect them to "stick."

Well, I use the thumb button for voice also accept I bind it to "o". I will have to look into that problem.

Sounds like a hardware problem to me. I have a Lachesis, use both thumb buttons all the time, and they never stick, even when hitting other buttons or keys. I also have a Razer Lycosa keyboard. Love them both!

I have a Lachesis also and have never had a problem with the thumb buttons either. (And mine is bound to V also; weird.)

At least he's not using baby oil and paper towels. Right?

I am sad for this cause I saw that picture and the lotion was the VERY first thing I saw and thought the same thing... I am glad you highlighted them for all of us thinking the same thing.

The dude at Best Buy told me it could print money, but when I got it home I read the fine print: Eddie Money. Deceived!

It is. I mounted it on a piece of thin plywood to ensure it pops out.

Seeing all these photos makes me realize how p**s poor I really am. It does make me feel alot cleaner though, as there are some seriously messy people here!

Doesn't really matter whether I put up a photo or not. All I have now is an Acer Aspire 7735ZG laptop that is carried around to wherever I feel like it and my 360 is hooked up to an ancient tv I took with me when I moved out.

I have finally took the time to snap a quick pic of my dirty dirty desk! Behold this is the machine of your destruction! As well as the table that holds it! This is in my LAN Room which is off the house, tile floor, bare walls it has it's own shower and bath, If I purchased a fridge and microwave I could live in it!

Iphone camera FTW!

Also I just got the Logitech MOMO steering wheel and have been upsetting the wife by playing NFS:Shift none stop! I am currently learning how to drive high powered rear wheeled drive vehicles with it, I can drive them as long as they are in 5th gear and under 50 mph, after that I just do donuts and ram into walls.

What's wrong with Diggnation? I love the Revision3 shows, especially through Boxee.

Oh, nothing's wrong with Revision3, I regularly catch the Totally Rad Show and Tekzilla... But I can't watch diggnation anymore because Rose annoys the f*ck out of me.

Oh yeah, how so? If anything, I find Alex's incredibly high voice much more irritating. The only thing about the show that kind of sucks now is that they film them sometimes several weeks in advance now so the stories they cover are well in the past already. I am thinking of dropping Tekzilla because they killed Systm (one of my favourite shows on R3) claiming that they'd be working the content from it into Tekzilla and that has never happened. Plus Patrick Norton's spastic ADD presentation style and limited vocabulary of terms to describe things is getting old. Seriously, watch an episode and count how many times he says "basically" and "I like that thought." It's amazing.

Your PC looks crazy. I like it. What sort of... what is that exactly? Some sort of partial-exterior-case? With a fan thing on top? How are the noise levels?

It's funny, I think it's because Rose gets drunk. I've heard him on TWIT and he's downright tolerable there because he's not drinking.

Albrecht annoyed me when I first started watching the show, until I realized that he and I have very similar opinions about most things, and had a lot less tolerance for stupid bullsh*t.

Tekzilla I don't mind because, well, I like Veronica, don't dislike Patrick, and usually end up learning something from it.

Albrecht is the reason I stopped watching Diggnation. I kind of like kevin rose.

I couldn't help but chuckle at that. It reminded me of a Paul Rudd line from Forgetting Sarah Marshal, something along the line of "Does the carpet match the pubes?"

Also, apologies if that offends anyone, it wasn't meant to.
