I nominate rubixbra monkey bnpedersen for one of the player pieces.
As a Monopoly fan, I love this! Have to try and print it out to make a playable version

Seconded. All in favor?
I imagine that considering the myriad skills possessed by the GWJ populace we have the capability to make this Monopoly variant a reality.

I agree wholeheartedly that Monopoly is weak-sauce as far as boardgames go. I would actually love to see the GWJ treatment given to the game careers.
Careers has a lot of things going for it, you get to choose your own victory conditions, through a formula of money fame and happiness that must add up to 60 (so it's not just a game of "I win"). There is an outer circle like Monopoly with 8 internal loops which represent career paths so the game becomes a story of some weird career paths over the course of one's lifetime (e.g. an overseas voage, a college education, a stint in Hollywood followed by an expedition to the moon). It seems like a perfect fit for GWJ.
I saw your tweet about Careers, love that game, my grandparents had it.
Shouldn’t there be a reference to the weinerbomb in Goodjeropoly, maybe on a community chest card?
Clearly the donation drive icons are the game pieces.

Yeah, my friends have a version that's older than dirt, and they introduced me to it about a month ago. I've been really enjoying it. It's much better than life or monopoly IMO because it allows the player to make a lot more choices, but it's still easy to pick up and understand.
And it's easier to finish a game.

I don't know what you're talking about.

That's the obvious choice, sure. But where's the Emo Certis?

You successfully use "The Shocker" in a post. Advance to go, collect $200.
Man, this thread is 100% pure motherf*cking gold.
EDIT: Incidentally, the font choice is deliberate. Even though it's not Monopoly, it felt more GWJ-ish.
I suppose. It seems to come across as more "typewriter" than "video games" though.
I little Red Faction love:

I must print that one out on card stock and slip it into a real Monopoly game.
There are 17 of each kind of card in classic Monopoly. I've got at least 19 of each. Hopefully I haven't broken the game.
I was thinking about this, and the solution I came up with is to use the consequences that are already in the game and just insert the GWJ description. This way it won't be just a deck of "lose a turn" cards, and the original mechanics stay intact.
Who cares if it breaks the game, as long as Certis gets a booger in his hair.
I don't think it'll be a problem as long as the ratio of benefit cards to penalty cards is kept pretty close to the original set.
That's more "certainty" than "chance," but I don't want to split hairs in an epic thread such as this.

Isn't there almost an Atari looking font?

Assuming you didn't mean the actual Atari font, perhaps you mean the retro 8-bit fonts?

Yes! That's what I meant. I was too lazy to go look up the proper name for it in word.
