so these might be posted already:
Maybe somebody already posted it (hard to tell with all the broken images), but there needs to be a "Steam sale: lose $40" Chance card.

A filthy enabler: lose $50 was posted.
Also, shouldn't the child wants a Wii be "lose $250... still"?
How bout: Drunken Wii party: A friend throws a Wiimote through your TV, lose $200
Goodjer Monopoly is a great idea.
Can't tell if it's already been done because of the broken links, but there should be a card for: "The Trading Post Thread: Trade one of your games for another property of your choice." Not sure from a balance perspective if that should just be limited to either owned properties (or, perhaps, unowned ones).
I've been lurking here for years. It's this sort of thing I keep coming back for.

DT you have drawn a lurker from the shadows! This thread delivers, big time.
Oh and Sanctuary, welcome to the bright sunlit timesink that is posting on the GWJ forums. Here's a set of sunglasses (you'd be surprised how handy they are), and we make no apologies nor take any responsibility for lost productivity.

If you didn't do it, I would have.
My fixed cards:
i totally love this idea. I might have to make some physical copies so that when my 1 year old is monopoly age when play nerd monopoly.
I would complain about the PC being stupidly over priced but I am sure that discussion is on here somewhere.
1. I f-ing HATE monopoly. But I would buy and play the HELL out of this!
2. I am really disturbed by all the avatars featuring bnpederson... it's... creepy.

It’s the inappropriateness I love. As for the time, it’s enough that my wife is suspicious of the site. She's not quite sure what’s going on only that I that shake with stifled laughter intermittently.
Shouldn’t there be a reference to the weinerbomb in Goodjeropoly, maybe on a community chest card?
My fixed cards:
Gold.
It really is too bad that Monopoly is such a terrible game. These are awesome.
My wife loves Monopoly. Has ten to fifteen different versions of the game. This might be the first version I'd buy for myself! 'course, how in the heck I'd get HER to play it (and understand the humor) is another question entirely...
This thread is awesome. It got me thinking that a "GWJ Monopoly: TF2 Version" could be possible seeing as how that thread is nearly 20,000 posts...

I agree wholeheartedly that Monopoly is weak-sauce as far as boardgames go. I would actually love to see the GWJ treatment given to the game careers.
Careers has a lot of things going for it, you get to choose your own victory conditions, through a formula of money fame and happiness that must add up to 60 (so it's not just a game of "I win"). There is an outer circle like Monopoly with 8 internal loops which represent career paths so the game becomes a story of some weird career paths over the course of one's lifetime (e.g. an overseas voage, a college education, a stint in Hollywood followed by an expedition to the moon). It seems like a perfect fit for GWJ.
This thread delivers.
I propose a creepy spider card.
This one made me LOL.
When did "buyers market" start to mean "sellers act like tools?"
I feel your pain brother.I put in a bid on a foreclosure last week that all bids were due by 5 pm on Labor Day. There were 10 bids. I was upposed to go see one tonight that was only on the market for 1 day. It was only scheduled for 1 day, not even like it sold right away. I think this "buyers market" is a ruse created by the real estate companies to drive up sales in an otherwise flagging market. I am thinking it's also making people make rash decisions in an effort to just get something.
I propose a creepy spider card.
