WoW: Cataclysm - SPOILERS WITHIN

WoW...in Western Plaguelands...the hill house on the easternish edge of the zone.

Well, I guess it's the moment of truth for the MMO Champion leaked info.

You're forgetting about Nathanos Blightcaller. Clearly BM spec, with 3 undead wolves.

I actually don't remember that one. That from WoW or Warcraft III?

Both. He was the first Human Rangerlord in Warcraft 3 as Nathanos Marris. In WoW, he was technically the first world raid boss @ 60 for the Alliance quest to kill him in Eastern Plaguelands as Nathanos Blightcaller, Champion of the Scourge, and can still be found on the Marris Farmstead.

Oh, look at that, MMO Champion had it right.

Looks like the MMO Champion article was on the mark.

Edit: I'm watching the stream

It's. All. True.

I think I just pee'd ma pants

Not one bit surprised.

Can't wait to see if there's anything on top of what's already been reported.

Anyone sniff out a release date more specific than "when we effin' feel like it"?

It's sophomoric to say "Eat my shorts, doubters," right?

Pretty stoked. Anyone notice the bit about CONTINUING the war against the Lich King?

So, anyone have a link to the trailer video? I didn't feel like dropping $40 for a mini-pet, no matter how cool it might be, and thus I've only been able to read a live blog.

Very excited! Can't wait to see the panel starting soon. Really curious to find out what the new level progression thing is, "Path of the Titans". Also Guild Levels and & Achievements sounds awesome

Wait..what?

Seriously?

I think the stuff not mentioned by MMO Champion are:

- Archaeology profession
- Guild levelling and achievements

Guild Levels ...

Group e-peen!

Did they ever SAY the battle with the Lich King will end with Wrath? Hmm.

Icecrown Citadel was merely a set-back?

Amusingly, the two classes I have at 80 are the only two Worgen can't be.

Wow.com is liveblogging the new races ATM.

It was just a flesh wound.

Edit: and the WoW preview panel is about to begin.

Oh, they are all prominently drinking Mountain Dew. Nice plug.

Sophmoric but not unexpected.

I didn't catch the bit about the "continuing" though, where was that?

Worgen racials are out. They have two forms, a racial Sprint, 1% bonus damage, and faster Skinning and +15 Skinning skill.

Ironic, considering they were one of the few humanoid races that was ever skinnable...

Worgen - to bring a more monstrous element to the alliance. Starting area to show how the worgen curse wove through Gilnean society. "Bad ass" starting area, they say. Starting at L6? (Did I hear that right?)

Goblin - Horde goblins from a specific Island goblin group. Driven our by cataclysmic events. Forced into Horde, starting neutral. Picture of a goblin car mount.

The L6 thing was just referring to the demo they have at the show today, they aren't showing L1-5 yet.

Cataclysm website is up: http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/catac...

Goblin racials - racial rocket belt. For movement and rocket fire. Pew pew.

Sunken City in Maelstrom, Deepholm city under... Ironforge? Also Mount Hyjal.

Edit: Seven new zones total.

Edit: Deepholm is an elemental plane zone for 80-85 toons. Entry way in western Eastern Kingdoms somehwere.

Guild advancement system - gives access to perks. 20 guild levels. Advanced by daily quests, raids, BGs. Guild talent tree, access to cheaper repairs, mass ressurection after a wipe, etc.
