Declare Your Independence from Something New by Playing Something Old

Put me down for X3:TC with Quintin. Arma 2 might drag me away, but I'm hoping to start a solid play through of the game by the end of the month.

Although I have a bunch of recent games on my pile crying out for attention, i'm going to try to get through an older one that I've been meaning to get get into since I bought it last year. Put me down for Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts.

Good ol' solid, reliable, delightful Chrono Trigger (DS).

I am going to close out DoW II tonight. I. Swear. To. God.

Co-op even. I don't care what it takes or who has to die along the way.

Still trying to find the time to finish Company of Heroes. I keep forgetting that I'm not terribly good at RTS games that require more strategy than "build a sh*t-ton of tanks and roll from one side of the map to the other."

I'm going to try this whole "clearing off my pile of shame" thing again. Put me down for Battlefield: Bad Company. This is the first game I bought with my 360 and thought it was great until I got another game, and another, and another, etc.
So my goal for the the month with be to return to the good old days, of approximately one year ago, when I first got my 360 and knock my first 360 game right off my pile of shame!

List should be current, holler if I missed you.

I'm back on the pile this month with something I've actually been playing -- Hemi, please put me down for Mirror's Edge! I'm a couple of hours in already, so I should have no trouble finishing it this month.

I'm heavily into Disgaea DS this month, my 45 minute commutes are just great for that. I expect to finish it this months, as I am more than 30 hours in already. There will of course be New Game+ after that, but story-wise I'm close to the end.

Gears of War 2 and Fallout 3 DLC for me in July. Well, those are the pile-qualifying items. Still playing through Prototype and I expect to spend a little time with the DDO free-to-play beta.

Have to add Plants vs. Zombies to my list. It's my go-to game when the wife commandeers the T.V.

GOW2, it's great, why didn't I play this ages ago?

Gears of War 2 Insane difficulty, solo. I'm more than halfway through. Take that, pee pants Quintin!

Prepare to be weaseled, Clemenstruation.

Sad, but true. Maybe when I hit 40 in ten years?

Woo-hoo!

Pfft, says the guy with a horny robot in his avatar.

Edit: Wow, weird timing on that.

It's art, you Philistines!

Lightweight.

I've got handful of story missions left, and I've just hit 170 hours. I loves me that Item World, not to mention reincarnating like it's going out of fashion. A couple of characters are on their 6th incarnation.

This reminds me that I should check out the Disgaea games for PSP. Perhaps that'll go on the pile for next month.

God of War or Gears of War?

Sorry that's Gears.

The only other game in my pile is Fable 2 and I can't imagine having time to plough into that heat sink. I tried getting one of my kids to play so I didn't have to do all the grinding but she lost interest pretty quickly.

Okami (PS2) and Mario and Luigi: SuperStar Saga. These choices are subject to change at my discretion.

I have close to 100 hours on PS2, I just like the mobility of the DS port. I'll be playing this one really loooong, I just want to be done with the story. I love item world, especially with Geo Panels. Can't get enough of those chain explosions and the bonuses that follow.

Just picked up Gametap and going through a slew of games I missed. Shining Force, Civ IV Warlords, Psychonauts. Summmer's looking fun =)

Man, I can't wait until my 'foster children' (i.e. gameslaves) arrive from overseas. I'm going to put them straight to work finishing Eternal Sonata for me. After that, they can chase down all the pigeons in GTA IV. I have a whole laundry list of exciting tasks planned!

As a side note, Fable II doesn't take too long to finish. It's doable without much grinding at all, in fact. Although I do admire the attempt to lasso the kids into being your bandit-killing min-maxers.

All of those for July? We do one of these every month.

List should be current besides Bullion Cube's games.
