Partisan politics get way out of hand

From Yahoo/AP

And no, this doesn't involve Iraq at all.

I wish they would have got into a fist fight. I want to see a chair thrown in Congress before I hit the dust.

Well, maybe if Springer becomes a senator...

Do you think he''d bring his big, bald bouncer as a bodyguard?

The whole Congress could chant ''Show your tits''...

Whoa. Wimp? Fruitcake? the gloves are off...

Have you seen any congress people? Good looking people do not join Congress...unless it is a movie.

Speaking of ""partisan"":

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,92361,00.html

Certainly a different take on the events. The Yahoo story puts the Democrats in a favorable light and blames the situation on nasty Republicans, while Fox News story presents the facs more completely.

Wonder which version you''ll be reading in most major news outlets?

I think I see enough ""partisan"" out of reading Ral and Rat''s posts...

True, but we wear our biases on our sleeves. ""News"" is supposed to present the facts, not interpret them. And all too often the story is presented in a way as to be ""factually accurate"" to take a line from my new favorite Clinton appointee, while still wildly skewing the events.

Blablabla and partisan politics have invaded another thread ""Get over it""

Wait, we have threads in this forum without ""Blablabla and partisan politics""..?

Yeah that''s exactly my though, problem is that ''me eurotrash you merikkkan'' people like moi haven''t got anything to do with partisan politics.

Well, the forum does say ""Politics and Controversy"". And last I looked, Europeans weren''t afraid to choose sides in American political debates...

No, only in wars...

oh, they chose sides...

Wow, that''s some appealing bait...but I don''t think I''ll go for it
