I've been looking forward to this kind of game for a long time.
Pre-purchase now on steam, and you'll get a free copy of Heavy Weapon Deluxe.
I saw this too, and I'm kind of interested. I'm not entirely sure what the game actually it, but I've loved everything the PopCap Games guys have been doing so I'm almost about to buy the game on that fact alone.
Plus, who wouldn't buy a game featuring zombies! Being attacked by killer plants!
It seems like a tower defense game, only the towers are plants and the enemies are zombies. I pre-ordered it on Steam, and I look forward to playing it.
I read an interview or preview, or something about it recently, but I can't recall where. The preceding sentence might be the most helpful in GWJ history.
There's no way this game could disappoint me. All I want out of it is a game I can play while listening to podcasts, with zombies. It's guaranteed to deliver there, and anything else will only be gravy.
Heavy Weapon's not bad for free, either. I wouldn't dream of paying ten dollars for it, though.
I didn't want the free game so didn't pre-order. I really want to jump into it tho-- I've been playing pop games for a long time, they make good casual stuff.
I just pre-ordered this game on a whim. I hope I made a good decision.
I've pre-ordered. Wanted a decent Tower Defense game, and this is cheaper and looks more charming than Defense Grid.
Heavy Weapon is a nice surprise for a non-shmup fan too.
The music video made me chuckle.
I pre-ordered too, the review in Edge got me.
The music video made me chuckle.
That sir, was awesome.
The music video made me chuckle.
Any doubts I may have had are now gone. Thank you.
There's butter on my head!

That video is hilarious.
Edit: And just made me preorder.
I would pre-order except Steam's security won't let me use my credit card with my American billing address while I'm living here in Japan using a Japanese ip address. Stupid Steam trying to protect the integrity of my account.

PayPal?

My husband has the same problem. I have to buy the items as a gift and send them to him.
Oh my god, best music video ever. That's going to go through my head for days.
Oh man, I nearly fell over when the little heart suddenly got a tear in its eye from all the brain-cholesterol.
Watched the trailer, then immediately pre-ordered the game on Steam afterward. This looks way too hilarious to miss. The zombie bobsled team had me rolling
A tower defense game with all the polish and charm that goes along with Pop Cap games is sure to be good. Those guys really know what they're doing.
Holding off on buying it from steam. If you sign up for the zombie alert newsletters you are supposed to be able to get the game early and with a 10% discount.

Infinitely cool. Looks like PopCap has become one of those companies whose new releases everyone follows with abated breath. Good job.
...with abated breath.
Everyone has decided not to breath?

One dollar cheaper and at most a day early (and counting down)? I'd rather have the convenience of Steam.

Sure, thats why there is so many damn zombies... Damn, nonbreathing undead...
I'm waiting for the demo.
While being a closet pop cap games whore and the video was funny, I'm not so sure about the concept after looking at the screenshots.
I sucked at Pixeljunk Monsters and it frustrated me so I'm rather uncommitted on the Tower Defense genre.

I'm hearing that the PopCap price is $20, so $18 with the 10%. The Steam preorder was $10, so I think it's a matter of how much you're willing to pay to play tonight instead of tomorrow night.

Don't forget the free copy of Heavy Weapons Deluxe when you order on Steam.

Pixeljunk Monsters isn't the easiest game on earth (especially since you're hampered by movement speed). I would expect a PopCap game to be a bit more friendly (so says the person stuck on level 5 of Heavy Weapons Deluxe).
Looks neat...will wait to hear what you guys say about it before jumping in.
