Actually, it's strangely common. It's the third of that type I've seen here in the past couple weeks.

Well, since this thread is back from the dead, I'd love to hear how WiredAsylum's new puppy is working out.

Yes, more pet pictures please. I cannot have my own, so I will live vicariously through you all.

Don't have to ask me twice

Oh God now I want a dog.

Dang you, GWJ! Dang you to heck!

Since the internets are running desperately short on cat photos, here's some of our cat Pandora doing what she does best -- looking cute, and sitting on things she shouldn't sit on:

And, so she doesn't feel left out, here's our other cat, Cozmo, in one of those rare moments when she's not trying to eat my hand:

This is Boris the Russian Wrestling Bear-cat. My fiancee and I brought him home from the shelter today after rescuing a sweet (yet stinky) hound dog from the side of the road.

Jette got her summer haircut today.

I brought Teeny to work with me today. She needed a nail trim, which is something I cannot do without reinforcement.

So here she is in a cat bag before the nail trim:

Here she is after her nail trim. Notice my coworker on the right holding the cat muzzle. Teeny has what we call "torti-tude." IMAGE(http://img12.imageshack.us/img12/6341/angryteeny.jpg)

Oh, she looks real cheerful in that last shot.

Man, Teeny's giving me a Jack Nicholson vibe in that second photo.

Love the sneer in the first pic.

I so desperately want to make a joke about "letting the cat out of the bag" but I'll spare you all in a passive/aggressive way.

Okay, that first picture is fantastic.

Until this moment, I have never seen a cat put on the same expression that a teenager puts on when they have to take a photo in public with their uncool family.

This TOTALLY made my morning

So much for cats only having one expression on their face. Ever. Mind you, our cat seems to be like that - he looks the same whether he's sad, happy, pissed off, hungry or psychotic (which is all the time).

Teeny and Billy Idol, separated at birth!

Latest pic of my dog Stella, watching as I run the grill over the weekend.

I really want a cat bag. Does it come with bungee cord tie downs? I now need to quickly clear my browser cache before my cats see this and launch an offensive.

Don't forget the memory wipe while you're at it. We all know cats can read minds (I think it's why they hate us so much).

I wonder if I can get something like that to trim my ferrets' nails. One of them is exquisitely calm and polite, the other is a hailstorm of tooth and claw if you try to hold her steady.

:evil cat pic:

Based on the looks of that cat muzzle, I think this may be an accurate photo of the cat with it on.

Wow. I can't believe you have so much trouble with the beast.

When I need to trim nails and put a fresh set of SoftPaws on mine I just grab her and flip her over. She lays on my lap and looks like an otter with her paws folded down waiting to be done. Admittedly, she's got that look of "I'll get you when you're sleeping" but there is usually no struggle nor restraints. She seems to have learned if she co-operates she gets to go free sooner (and get treats). If she attempts to bite the process takes longer but still gets done and without the treats.

Yes, I bribe her... but it works.

Here's a photo of Houdini from a few years back:

Here's one of Beaker as well. She likes our computers almost as much as we do :p

Our other cat is almost impossible to get a good photo of, so I'll spare you all for now.
