Gambit in X3!!

W00t!

Joe Q. was on Fox and commented that Gambit would be in X3 and he is the 2nd most popular X-Men.

This is one happy fanboy.

He is? I''d never have guessed.

Wolverine, no contest, #1 ( I''m not a fan, but seems everyone loves him!), but I''d have thought Cable or others were more popular.

For me, it''s cyclops, nightcrawler (Yes, even before the movie! :D), and Colossus. I''m disappointed that they''re totally wasting Cyclops in the films. He''s kind of a captain-america type. I guess people prefer the Anti-hero.

But yeah, the frenchman is cool.

Cajun Mex, cajun.

Who''s Joe Q.? Some Marvel guy?

Heh, I wasnt a fan of Nightcrawlers until the side scrolling Xmen arcade game. He kicked major ass in that game.

Its good to know he kicks ass in the movie too.

One of these days I''ll go see it...

Mex,

If he was French do you think I''d like him?

sh*t, now Ulairi is going to have to find something new to Female Doggo about

Pray he doesn''t turn his rage towards Canadiens. Or fans of Wolverine. Either way it''ll get ugly.

Joe Q is Joe Quesada, the Editor-in-chief over at Marvel comics. Man, I could remember a time when comic book artists drew comics. Remember that, Joe Maduiera/J Scott Campbell? Remember when you drew comics? Instead of putting out one comic every five years? Remember that?

Madiera has serious work ethic issues...

Didnt he form some video game company with a couple other folks a while back?

No surprise we havent heard anything from them

So Gambit isn''t french? Really? I always thought he was, with the ""mon cherie"" and all that. I don''t understand the word ""cajun"", sorry

No matter how much Ulairi or Yommy try to deny it, there are Americans of French ancestry, but none of them are Senators from Ohio or Maine.

Cajun is reference to being born in a region of the state of Lousianna. Perhaps even being born in the state of Louisianna suffices.

Lousianna does have strong French roots.

Doesn''t the French Quarter of New Orleans ring a bell?

Cajun food is excellent! Simmering spicy Cajun sausages, red beans and rice, Jambalaya, etc.

Its akin to a Qebec of the United States. People speak French, English and a slang dialect that is a mixture of the two.

Oh, I understand. I always thought when they said ""raging cajun''"" in the comic, they meant ""french""

Gambit has been to France.

Gumetal: I know what you mean. But, Marvel is rocking and he has a lot to do with it.

I have no problem with Canada. I like the place. It feels more ''old'' than the United States and I really like that.

That explains the smell...

Just kidding, just kidding!

Yeah, Maduiera did form a videogame company with two other guys a couple of years ago, but last I heard (from their website) they''d closed up shop. I wonder if this means he''ll get back to drawing Battle Chasers? That''d be pretty sweet

By every legal definition, thats slander.

(Gambit rocks! Everything Cajun is wonderful, and New Orleans is a close second to Las Vegas in the ""Where I''d like to live if I had more money then I could spend and no morals whatsoever"" topic)

I would like to second that nomination. Ever since I played the first Gabriel Knight Ive always wanted to visit New Orleans.

The real New Orleans is far more strange any filled with debauchery than any fictional portrayal of it I''ve seen thus far. I''ve been more times than I care to count for a variety of reasons, and it''s as terrifying and titilating a place as you''ve imagined. Every time I leave with all my faculties still in tact, I count it as a minor miracle.
