Edwards gets ow3d

Democrats put their wallets in their mouths, Republicans put their foots in their mouths, Monica Lewinsky puts...oh wait, new CoC, nevermind.

Ulairi, are you sure you''re not Republican? Please! This article read to me as ''Some people not associated with the Edwards campaign may have done something wrong. On discovering this the campaign returned the donations. A politically motivated ''criminal investigation'' was started. Well, God knows the Bush administration certainly has no questionable ties with large donors.

Media: We should investigate Edwards for receiving money from trial lawyers

Administration: Good idea!

Media: We should investigate the administration for receiving money from oil companies.

Administration: That''s preposterous and unamerican. You''re a terrorist!

It has nothing to do with what was said. Apperance is everything. If this gets ''proven'' and people go to jail, Edwards will have a huge political problem. It''s like the Enron fiasco, that happened before Bush got into office but people blammed him.

Ah, so all Senator Edwards has to do is stonewall, deny, and launch a war to get people to forget, eh?

I agree. Appearance is everything, but this is a sweep under the rug news item with no teeth. It''ll be lucky to make a blip on the radar of the average voter, and honestly we''ve all become so accustomed to partisan mud-slinging over campaign contributions that it''s really rolling off the back of most voters.

That''s why there''re so many Republicans in office right now.

That and Democrats plan to fixing the nation is to oppose everything Bush does. Bush could say he wants to go give hugs to people and Rat boy would be against it.

At least Whitey from MO has came out and said what he wants: He wants to raise taxes for universal healthcare.

Hugging people doesn''t put food on your family. And just to show I''m not a bad guy, I don''t think sleeping in a homeless encampment to ""learn"" about them gets much done either.

You say that like it''s a bad idea?

The is no reason for someone to be homeless in America. I would like to see what % of homeless people have drug problems. If you''re clean and willing to work any job you can get off the streets.

When the party hasn''t had a new idea in 30 years, yes. What is the Democrats plan to ''fix'' the economy? What about social security? I know that they''re against Bush and that Bush is really just satan. Bush will also cause WWIII, world hunger, and wants to destroy the enviorment so his oil buddies can make money.

Now, Ulairi. Stop exaggerating. Bush is not Satan, he''s some kind of mild lesser demon. Satan would have a much better grasp of language.

All the rest is true though.

And Satan has the power to assume a pleasing shape. Why would he assume the form of somebody that has a face that can be likened to a chimp?

Assumes pleasing shape ... hmmm?

/looks back at the Dixie Chicks thread.

Oh no, oh dear God no! Not the Dixie Chicks!
