Who's going to E3?

I am.

In between meetings and checking out the games, I'll be at the IGN booth.

I have my media pass and a place to stay, I just cant afford the plane ticket since I''m saving cash to buy a house in September.

Thanks opening that wound up again Ulairi!

That''s ok. I''ll make sure to get extra time in with HL2.

Im going to try and acquire a ticket. I grew up in LA and my parents live in the same house so accomodations wont be a problem.

I''ll prolly hang out at the WoW booth all day everyday =P

You lucky bastards. This of all the years is a year I would truly love to go. You guys better live it up and come back with some good stories and info for us.

Well send me over you pass Certis, I have been meaning to head down there to see ""O"" anyway. I promise to upload a bunch of badly spell checked posts in your name

Wish I could talk work into sending me, but there is just no angle to work... ah how I miss the days of high cooperate excess.

Me me, I''m going. Who wants to tie one on and get hammered before the first day? Imagine walking around E3 drunk as a skunk! Muahahahha

If I drank I''d be there.

Thats the problem with e3, all the walking around on that dam conrete. Ya I know there is a nanometer of carpet on top but does that help? Really?

What cracks me up is every year noone brings cash so the ATM lines are a half hour long and they ALWAYS run out of money.

Heh talk about $6 dollar burgers too! Cept these $6 burgers cost $7.95 and come with an air puffed bag of 5 chips.

Yeesh, you guys get sneak peeks at the uber-games and all you can do is complain, complain, complain.

Most booths are carpeted. The food is way too expensive so I go out, much cheaper and better.

I''m not complaining for several reasons:

1. I love E3, and always have cash on hand. I NEVER use the LACC''s SOLE ATM.
2. I love close enough to the LACC that I can go home for lunch if I''d like.
3. Who can complain with all the titles that''ll be on show this time?!

Don''t want to know about your love life Veloxi

My wife said to me, last night, ""you know, I was thinking for your graduation gift, we could get you a trip to E3! When is it?""

I sighed in what I can only term as a very morose manner and said, ""it''s on the days of my last final and commencement.""

""Oh,"" she said.

Well it''s the thought that counts I suppose.

I''m going, me, me, me... ... sometime in 2005! With my job, I'm lucky to have weekends, though it''s good to have a boss who is also a gamer... so in 2005 I might ask him for business trip to E3. Ether way there is a plus, I often come to work late, so or conversation starts like...

Me: Good Morning! Sorry I'm late...
Boss: Good Morning Nei, what happened? (...Nei, is my nickname that everyone calls me!)
Me: I was at friends for a C&C LAN Party.
Boss: How was it?
Me: Well, I actually didn''t do that bad 23/10 (my actual record)
Boss: Not bad... and then it will continue on things to do and other mambo jumbo...

LOL! Spoken like a true gamer, who''s only excercise is to get up to piss and grab another Mountain Dew.

JK of course

Real gamers drink Dr. Pepper and Jolt. :>P

Dr. Pepper? *shudders* Isnt that to the cola''s the same as 20/20 is to alcohols?

Dr. Pepper rules!

I agree Dr Pepper''s awesome for that jittery, over-sugared high that I so sorely need at 4.00AM in the morning!

Jolt? I thought that stuff was made illegal in 91?

I recall vaguely when Jolt first came out me and a friend bought a twelve pack and got in his truck to head off for a week of learning to be white water raft guides (ah to have such miss-spent summer adventures again). We drank the whole thing on the way there, and it had gotten really warm. By the time we got there I could actually scrape the sugar scum from it off my teeth. I haven''t touched the stuff since.

Besides everyone knows real gamers drink coke, and only their wifes Dr. Pepper when they run out of coke. No Pepsi slurping mutants allowed

Does anyone actually drink Pepsi. I never see anyone wandering around sipping a can of Pepsi, or buying one at the local SuperAmerica, or ordering one at Culver''s. I see Coke, Mt. Dew, Dr. Pepper, Sprite, whatever, but never Pepsi. I''m willing to bet if you checked stocks of Pepsi at supermarkets you''d discover they''ve all been flat since 1975.

I like Coke and Dr Pepper but of course in my office it''s a goddamn Pepsi vending machine! (Partly made up for by the chocolate vending machine parked beside it!)

I just realized that I have not seen any Pepsi commercials lately... or any thing else for that matter, excerptions of Gazaraid (spelling?)... than again things look grim over here...

Pepsi is like Celine Dion (sp?) music. She sells a million CDs but no one knows anyone that has one.

Pepsi owns Taco Bell.

It might be their saving grace since the fountain in the restaurant is of course pepsi products.

Up with Coke, up with hope!

Down with Pepsi, down with epilepsy?

Coke all the way here. I may on occasion slum and drink 7-up or Mountain Dew, but Coke ownz!

If I need mix for my Rum I use coke, if I''m going to drink a cola straight I''ll take Pepsi. I don''t do that very often though since it tends to make me feel dirty.

It might be a regional thing, Pepsi''s real popular around here. However, that might be because they have a bottleing plant nearby and get exclusive vending machine rights at most High Schools in the area.
