As Iraq is freed of Saddam, US sets stage for next wars

Ulairi, the two aren''t mutually exclusive. I''ve conceded before that some people fit into that category that you rail against, but there are also a lot of people who are firmly against Bush and also firmly against war as a reliable method of social change, particularly without strong and widespread material support.

Like I''ve also said before, I hope Bush is right. I hope it works. I hope the Iraqis become free and fat off their deserved wealth. I hope this war fulfills the promises of the talking heads. I hope it turns out a hell of a lot better than our support of Afghanastan has, or, yes, Belgrade where officials are being assassinated.

More talk of war.

If you thought the international and domestic outrage was deafening before, imagine how loud it would be when the Administration starts dropping even more hints about Syria in the coming months.

I tried to make clear the two camps. At school it''s the one camp and I''m getting tired of them.

Ever had the feeling of not wanting to be right?

Syria is a huge supporter of terrorist and they''re trying to build WMD. We need to do something about that.

So, we''re now just going to go around and hang the Scarlet WMD on anybody we don''t like? Where''s the proof?

Go to google and type ""Syria WMD"" in. See what you get.

A WMD-stockpile that they have been building up for the last thirty years or so. Never threatened anyone with it. Who is the US to say that Syria should abolish those weapons?

The fact that you can do a google search for Syria WMD is proof the propaganda machine is in full swing.

All we need now is to draft some sort of UN resolution that Syria can violate. That seems to be the formula.

Oh BTW I also did a google search for ""Syria huge supporter of terrorism"" too.

Especially when there''s a bigger threat in North Korea, who also happens to have the capability to land a nuclear-tipped ICBM in the continental US. Maybe we should try confronting them before we continue to knock over small, petty dictators in a region grossly hostile to all things American.

Crap, why didn''t Blix simply google for ""Iraq WMD""? It could have been so easy!

Yeah, well, anyway, OOC, is there some sort of international treaty that doesn''t allow Syria to have WMD?

The point is we want to stop nations from becoming like North Korea.

North Korea is already North Korea, with a loaded nuclear gun pointed straight at the heart of America and egotistical despot with his finger on the trigger. It makes the combined threats of Syria and Iran pale in comparison.

Rumsfeld continues to make veiled threats against Syria

One wonders if the Pentagon is designing a new deck of ""Death Cards"" for the Syrian government.

I somewhere on the news that from casual inquiring, the UK government said it will not take part in any military action on Syria. Looks like the US will be forming a ""Coalition of One"" this time around.
