Who Should Edwin Marry?

Don't forget to get that ring appraised and get some insurance on that bad boy.

did you take the top picture in a public restroom?

Probably at the restaurant where he proposed, making sure that the ring was actually in his pocket and he didn't need to revert to Plan B.

Winner!

Congrats!

Wow. That was quick. What was that? Like a 6 month courtship?

Tuesday was our one-year anniversary. We're not 100% reckless; only 75% or so.

My wife and I actually decided to get married after we had been together for a month or so. We waited a year before becoming officially engaged so that our families could get more used to the idea.

Congratulations, clover and Edwin! I wish you the best.

We were the same but we are still waiting on the families getting used to the idea. Specifically my family.

So who is down for a Seattle Slap and Tickle elope? Any takers?

You guys headed out here for the honeymoon? That's cool!

If you are planning to elope, all I can say is good plan. My wife and I eloped last year and it was a fantastic decision for us.

After we got back, we threw a backyard bbq to celebrate with family and friends.

Elope to PAX '09

I wanted to elope, but my wife was having none of it. The good news is I got to wear a hot pink vest to my wedding reception.

Congratulations!

They should totally elope and have it done at PAX!

A fair trade, indeed.

For some reason it didn't completely dawn on me that you guys were dating. Congrats! Gamers With Jobs=Love

Congrats to you two! That's a beautiful ring (though I may be biased - I've always had a thing for sapphires).

Woo-Hoo! Congrats!

So this brings down the number of single women on GWJ by a few percentage points?

Congrats, giant man

Dammit Edwin, I am tired of your games. This time the ban is permanent! I will ban you so hard that ... oh.

Congratulations.

I've been waiting all day for this!

I didn't even know we had any single women.

That's hot.

Congrats, you guys.

Mrs. Dim and I had been together for several years before getting married, but we were fairly young by modern standards (24) when we tied the knot, so there was a little familial uncertainty about the match (mostly on the part of Mrs. Dim's folks).

We're twelve years in, and still very happily together.

If it's right, it's right - the family will come around eventually.

Grats to you guys.

I only discovered you were going out like a month ago, and I forget what random comment it was that finally clued me in.

Congratulations you two!

Congrats to you both!

Congrats Edwin and Clover! I'll put one back for you two tonight at the Slap and Tickle!

So it only took a few months but damn those sneaky Chinese cookie makers! Or I guess by the title of the picture he said yes?

Congrats!

Let's see.. I met my wife in February of 07, we started talking about things we were interested in later that month. We got engaged in July 07, and were married on 21 October, 2007 @ 1234 EST(That's when I said yes, to the minute. Mrs AnimeJ said yes @ 1236).

So, to the 'wow that's fast crowd', I respond with 'when you know it's right, you know it's right'.

Congratulations to both of you! Very happy news. Keep us updated on all the wedding prep - heh heh. We want to hear how Edwin likes picking out the napkins and matching chair covers...

Congratulations!
