Which games are you currently playing?

I've been playing a ton of games, and since news is slow, I thought I'd share some of them. Some are for review, some are for my own personal enjoyment. Every one of the games listed is really good or excellent. Take a look:[list]Europa 1400: The Guild, and excellent middle ages "life" simulator and strategy game.
Freedom Force, an excellent strategy/RPG hybrid featuring super heroes.
Freelancer, an excellent sci-fi adventure/rpg/space sim hybrid.
IL2 Sturmovik, still the best WWII flight sim until its semi-sequel, Forgotten Battles, is released.
Laser Squad Nemesis, a fantastic tactical turn-based email game from the creators of X-Com.
M.I.A.: Missing in Action, a really fun little arcade helicopter game based in Vietnam.
Moonbase Commander, a fun, lightweight turn-based strategy game.
Patrician II, an excellent, deep, and difficult, middle ages econimic simulation.
Shattered Galaxy, the only Massively Multiplayer Real Time Strategy game I'm aware of, and an excellent one at that.
Soldat, an excellent 2D shareware shooter which mixes elements of Worms, Unreal Tournament, and more.
Splinter Cell, a fantastic single-player only stealth action game reminiscient of a modern-day Thief.
Uplink, a really fun, hollywood-style hacker simulation.[/list:u:8757149e36]As you can see, I've been VERY busy. What have you been playing?

I''ve been having a hard time picking which game I want to just sit down and slug out. I keep switching as soon as I get frustrated with one. The last game I beat was The Getaway. Currently playing:

EverQuest Online Adventures (probably not for long though)
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (for GC)

The shrinkwrap is still on Metroid Prime and Dark Cloud 2. Lord, someone help me.

Lufia 2, Lufia, BoF 5, and Xenosaga are all on my plate. I hope to beat them all before Zelda comes out next month.

Panzer Dragoon Orta, Breath of Fire:DQ, and...Phantom Crash. I like robots. Found it used for 10 bucks, couldn''t resist.

Nothin'' on the PC front, although freelancer will change that.

Xenosaga is on the way as well.

Currently don''t have time to play a lot. Occasionally BF1942 (haven''t had the time yet to get Road to Rome even). I''ll pick up Praetorians when it comes out next week. I''ll probably also buy IL-2 FB, but won''t actually play it until I upgrade my system.

I am currently playing StarCraft and BF 1942 R2R.

Divine Divinity - Sucking up most of my play time
Zelda 64 - Pre-ordered the next one and got the bonus disk
Hitman 2 - When I just feel like shooting someone

Beat Splinter Cell 3 times so I may finally sell it.

Going to keep on DAoC for about 3 or 4 months. Get 50 and concentrate on RvR.

Zelda: Ocarina of Time (GCN) is consuming most of my limited game time, with little burst of Panzer Dragoon Orta to break things up.

Tenchu III and ZOE II demos are getting a look-in also, especially Tenchu, which has come a long way since its rather underwhelming E3 appearance. Stealth-tacular!

Currently playing;

C&C generals
Divine Divinity
Suikoden 2
Freelancer Demo (Hurry up and release the full game dammit!)

Age of Mythology. Man, everyone just ignored this game or what? I never saw any comments in the forums or anything. IT''s not bad, it''s actually pretty good! The graphics are amazing, the SP is challenging (I... I had to cheat in Hard mode in mission 14... ), and it''s just overall an excellent product, very polished.

How does Shattered Galaxy play? Is it worth the monthly fee?

It playes with a mix of RPG and RTS elements. The RPG elements come from your hero, who has four stats that control how many units the hero can command and what not. The RTS elements come into play when a battle ensues, as you select a small platoon out of your available units.

Actually, it''s quite a good game, well worth the fee.

Sounds good enough to give the demo a try. Thanks =]

Mario Sunshine
Metroid Prime
Zelda 64-GC
Madden 2003

Currently my pc will not allow me to play anything, but that will change very soon 8) .

When it''s replaced, looking forward to BF1942, ChessMaster 9000, Warcraft 3, and Possibly C&C:Generals.

Uh... how much processing power do you need to run Chessmaster 9000?

Enough to force Gary Kasparov into a draw.

lol, this goes to show you the sad, sad state of my PC! I can''t even run Chessmaster!!

Maybe this is why the computer keeps kicking my ass?

Spinter Cell - Just started
BF1942 - RtR & ***Desert Combat mod***
Natural Selection
GTAIII
Need for Speed HP2
No One Lives Forever 2

All PC titles and for now, thats all I will have. Still can''t convince the wife that we need another console. Every now and then I hook up TFC-HalfLife for old time sake.

Slayer

I actually started playing through Thief II again. The AI still drives me nuts with it''s goofiness, but it''s still one of the most engaging games I''ve played.

Let''s see...

BF1942: RTR - Just got into this, and boy do I stink, but it is a total blast. Anyone know where to get some tips? The expansion, while good, should have been a free download.
Freelancer - Thoroughly addictive. My kind of Space sim, with a Deus Ex-type conspiracy plot, and easily accesible controls.
CnC Generals - MOTS, but fun nonetheless.
Splinter Cell for PC - Haven''t really gotten into this one yet, but it looks fun.
Ground Control - When I saw the SS for the sequel, I reinstalled this one. Apart from the limited save system, it looks great with FSAA and Anistropic filtering and is fun. Wish I could get hold of the Dark Conspiracy addon they gave for free though.

Thinking about trying B&W again since I picked up the expansion used and cheap. How is Creature Isle?

And also reviewing a new NVIDIA graphics card.

Splinter Cell - Engrossing, completely engrossing. I walk around the house seeing things in Thermal Vision.
Master of Orion 3 - Can''t put it down without thinking about my next move for hours.
Raven Shield Demo - When I get it to work, it occasionally captures the essence of the first two. The MP demo might have tainted my opinion, but the SP demo hasn''t really blown me away. My biggest complaint (other than using the crash-tastic Unreal engine) is the revised UI for mission planning. Unwieldy to the extreme.
Generals - ""Don''t worry, I''ll dispose of those biological weapons for you!"" ""Sorry, no tracking numbers.""
Medieval - Man, you launch just one Crusade against the Egyptians and they conquer half of Europe just to get back at you.

Haven''t been playing much lately with schoolwork overtaking my life, but...

Kohan: Ahriman''s Gift - I have owned this game for quite awhile, but never got into it until now. Man what a freaking spectacular game.

Conquest: Frontier Wars - Definitely the most epic and wide scale RTS game I have ever played. TONS of fun, very strategic and very balanced.

Panzer Dragoon Orta - Definitely one of the best pure shooters ever made. I just keep playing through it over and over and over...

Hell yeah, I love this game. It''s a damn shame that it''s gotten so little attention, as it''s an excellent RTS title.

RTS!... hmm, I''m in the middle of playing Generals, plus I joggle between that and Splinter Cell(ref.: for PC), Panzer Dragoon Orta and Phantom Crash which is a good Mech-Quake! Finally my rat is at Lv35,

I hope to soon be playing Freelancer full, other then that I have been putzing around with the SB beta... Ugh. if that game had come out when it was supposed to it could have been something special, but now the quality is just so low and add in all the bugs and lag and other problems that frankly are not going to just disappear with release (Sorry, the problem is not just debug anyone who buys that doesn''t know a dam thing about how this sort of stuff works), I just can''t see folks flocking to it, or well even really playing it past the 1st month. Just way to much to overcome for to little return IMO. Our guild is going in, but I imagine ti''s going to be a quick dirty sorted affair that will flame up and out so quick it becomes collectively never mentioned again :).

Ground Control - When I saw the SS for the sequel, I reinstalled this one. Apart from the limited save system, it looks great with FSAA and Anistropic filtering and is fun. Wish I could get hold of the Dark Conspiracy addon they gave for free though

Don''t know about in the US but here in the UK the Sierra budget release of ground control has the Dark Conspiracy addon disk with it all for £10. I bought this as soon as it appeared on budget as it''s still an awesome game.

Currently (still) playing C&C generals and the Freelancer demo
