favourite edibles

As I was reading through the popcorn jellybeans thread and laughing a lot, I thought; Hmm I like jellybeans but my favourite sugarpacked snack manages to combine the best of both the worlds of Sugar AND Pastry. Donuts! (is there anything they can't do?).

My favourite non snack food has to be a good medium rare steak thats been marinated overnight in some montreal steak seasoning with fries.Hmm salty and juicy!

So whats Your favourite snack, meal, sweet, dead animal, vegetable or other foods?

I haven''t been too big of a sweets glutton lately. I''m not exactly sure when my tastes changed, but I was surprised to see all of the Halloween candy in the stores last fall didn''t tempt really tempt me. At some point I''ve switched over to being a fan of the savory. The hardest snack for me to put down is potato chips (unflavored, please, you ketchup-eating savages) with ranch dip. I''m not sure how you type Homer''s drooling noise, but that''s what I''m doing.

I''d have a tough time picking favorite food, though. My tastes cover quite a spectrum. I''m a big fan of sushi on some days, but on others my soul belongs to a cheesesteak.

Chocolate ice cream in a bowl with milk mixed in, and then you stir it up. It''s so freaking good. It sounds nasty but it''s like eating a really thick milkshake. Don''t judge me until you try it!!

Don''t have the luxary of doing this too often. I''m getting older and I''m paranoid if I keep eating poorly I''ll look down and won''t be able to see my toes!

""....and on the last day, the Creator breathed life into Doritos, and the little Gorey loved them. And LO! It was good... And although the little Gorey would grow into a bigger Gorey, his love for the Divine and Holy Power that floweth from the crunchy red bags of cheesy goodness was unquenched....""

Jeebus, I''m on my fourth cup of coffee since lunch, and boy does it show.

Chocolate ice cream in a bowl with milk mixed in,

This is so crazy it just might work......

Also in the same vein as scary toppings for ice cream, if you havent had maple syrup on your vanilla ice cream, you havent lived(or you dont border canada)

I would have to say plain old Vanilla Ice Cream! I have yet to try out any other snack that would beat it. You just can''t go wrong!

Sandwiches - in any form for a snack. In general I eat too much these days. Luckily it does not yet show

Chips of any kind. I''m not a sweet''s person in the least, but if there''s a bag of chips around I sit and eat the things till I''m sick or they''re gone. Kinda Homer Simpson like, I know, but I can''t stop myself.

And pizza of course. I never get tired of it. As a bachelor it makes the perfect meal. It feeds you at dinner and then again for breakfast.

I can''t resist doughnuts. Its a horrible weakness, like Kryptonite, only instead of turning my skin green it turns my ass fat. Glazed, cake, chocolate, cream, jelly, anything makes me weak at the knees. I will eat an entire box of the little Hostess chocolate frosted doughnuts, knowing damn good and well I will be sick as a dog the rest of the day.

I also like cereal. I can eat that pretty much all the time as well.

Ahhh Pyroman, it''s good to see someone with similar tastes to my own! Mmmm...Donuts! (Drool.)

I border Canada, and that''s still nasty.

I am a pizza whore. I can take down a large pizza even when I''m not hungry - and I can eat it three meals a day, and not get sick of it. It''s tragic.

- Cheeseburger w/ fries and a vanilla shake
- Roast Beef Sandwich on white w/ extra horseraddish
- Root Beer and Black Cherry Soda
- Cheetos
- Fried clams
- Banana splits

To satisfy my sweet tooth, I love a good maple bar with thick frosting on it.

As far as main course types of food, I love coconut prawns with an orange marmalade sauce for dipping, crab legs with copious amounts of melted butter, baked potatoes with that light, whipped butter and pepper, and mashed potatoes with gravy made from the drippings of a Honey Baked Ham. That Honey Baked Ham gravy... If God had gravy on his potatoes, that is what he''d have.

Beer-chu, I CHOOSE YOU! Beer is pretty much a food, espeically some of the heavier varieties.

Mmmmmmm, food.

Favorite snacks while gaming:

1) a tall glass of Pepsi
2) see above

I enjoy popcorn, chips and most things gummi... but anything that might leave fingers sticky is almost too much of a distraction. After all, who needs food when you''re in the middle of a good gaming session?
