P800 / Mobile Internet

Just wondering if any of you guys have views on the current crop of mobile phones?

I'm in the UK and my contract has expired, so I plan to get a new 'phone. Ideally, I want to get something that includes PDA functionality, since I hate having to carry my blasted Sony Clie around with me. I've been thinking about getting the new Sony - Ericsson P800. It looks like the business, with included Bluetooth, touchscreen, memory stick support, colour screen, mp3 playback, GPRS etc, Doom-port etc.

Anybody have any experience of this phone? Any idea where I can get a UK-spec 'phone cheaply?

I've also been looking at this T68i and Palm Tungsten deal, here:

What do you think of this offer? Good value?

Thanks in advance.

LB.

I wish I could find that phone here in the US I have been wanting one since I first saw it a few months ago, it keeps getting delayed for some reason. The only thing I could think of that needs to be improved is the max resolution on the camera. But hey if it''s good enough for James Bond it''s good enough for me.

There''s an easy solution to phone envy. Get a job like mine where it''s a job requirement for you to have your company-issued cell phone on you at all times. Even when you''re asleep, you better have it nice and loud next to you. Around the time when you take your first vacation and the highlight is actually turning off the phone and not wearing it, you''ll suddenly find all the flashy new phone commercials just don''t get you as worked up as they used to.

The P800 is indeed a nice phone. Sadly its 800 Euros without a contract and 400 with one. Seems like a christmas present for me

Yeah... I''ve got so much extraneous electronic crap in my life, anyway...

Sensible move would be to keep using my 8310, and stop wasting my cash on pointless gadgetry!!
