Here''s my list. The programming ones I hit from work, if I''m leisure browsing during the slow times I''ll connect to my computer at home and do that.
good ''ol Evil Avatar''s, Gamers With Jobs has now become a regular stop on my endless cycle through my favorites, Quarter to Three Voodoo Extreme Home Theatre Forum is usually my first stop once I''ve made my round through the gaming sites, Amazon I usually have to stop in here at least once to see if I find anything new to add to my ""save for later"" list!
Actually, Koesj already mentioned that up there. I use Mozilla so I can keep all my extracurricular pages all tabbed up in one window. Every day it''s the same 5 in the same order:
http://my.yahoo.com - I''m actually trying to switch to my.myway.com (no ad banners and 100x faster), but I''m a little worried they may go away since I don''t understand their business model.
http://www.slashdot.org - This is how I always seem to know a little about whatever is new in the tech world. It also helps me know what the overall geek opinion is about current issues.
www.penny-arcade.com
And on mondays : www.homestarrunner.com/sbemail.html (if you''ve never seen a Strong Bad e-mail hit that link now, and thank me later)
Then I go stare at the site stats for an hour or two, but you can''t have those links! So nyah!

That''s why he only has nine posts. I think Certis stuck him in some kind of timewarp, so his life passes incredibly slow to us, while it seems completely normal to him. On the upside, he''ll live for 14,000 years!

Just out of curiosity.. how is it majorly slower than the other US sites? It gets updated in the morning, usually before HomeLAN&Shack and while some news might be old, others aren''t and will show up at other sites later on.

What tdo you mean at work pretending to work I never pretend to work
Anyway whilst I''m multishirking at work I browse these (mainly UK sites)

http://www.apple.com/trailers/ - for all the latest trailers
http://www.theregister.co.uk - computer news from everywhere and the BOFH section is hilariously funny
MUST...STOP ...PLAYING ....SWG! MUST GET REAL LIFE BACK AGAIN!
These are pretty seminal sites, IMO:
http://www.google.com - Homepage, natch
http://news.bbc.co.uk - Definitely the most impartial and frequently updated news site on the web.
http://www.guardian.co.uk - Also terribly good.
http://www.ananova.com - decent online tabloid
http://www.somethingawful.com - extremely funny
http://www.bluesnews.com - frequently updated; pretty essential
http://www.plastic.com - excellent pop-culture news. Must read.
http://www.theonion.com - occasionally quite amusing.
http://www.infosync.no - great mobile / pda / hi-tech reviews and news
http://www.xbox-scene.com - Xbox technical news
EDIT: Forgot to add http://www.nme.com - best music reviews on the planet.

Actually, Koesj already mentioned that up there. I use Mozilla so I can keep all my extracurricular pages all tabbed up in one window. Every day it''s the same 5 in the same order:

http://my.yahoo.com - I''m actually trying to switch to my.myway.com (no ad banners and 100x faster), but I''m a little worried they may go away since I don''t understand their business model.

http://www.gamerswithjobs.com - Move over bacon, here''s something meatier.
http://cbs.marketwatch.com - If I''m ever going to reach Gamer Retired from Job status, I need to stay in the know.
Other sites I''ll check out occasionally:

http://www.bigempire.com/filthy - Filthy Critic is pretty much on the money with his reviews.
http://www.planetgamecube.com - Of course.
