You can thank me later.

And you did it. Thank you.

And thus, peace and happiness were returned to the thread.

Let us never speak of Shoal's post again.

What's wrong with the naked men? I thought they sounded a little like Depeche Mode.

Am I doing it wrong?

I have to admit, this is one of the most amusing threads I've read in a long time! You've given me a good laugh at work, so thanks for that. I'll definitely be checking out the referrer stats more often after this find! I can't tell whether I should feel honoured or freaked out by the discussion here, especially with that ghastly wig picture being plastered on the thread. But sod it, seeing as I'm here now I thought I'd clear a few things up:

1. Definition of "Elysium"
2. "Guvnah" is not a word in my vocab, but "bloody hell" and "bollocks" are.
3. A beard would be fab, but a drawn on Handlebar will have to suffice.
4. "Weiner bomb" wont be gracing any of my articles. However "blue-veined junket pumper" will.

I think that's pretty much covers it all.

I'll stop stepping all over your toes now Lord Elysium! ;]

<3

English swearing and insults are sooooo much more elegant,...... and filthy.

This ritual of summoning was more powerful than expected.

Mortals should be careful lest they unleash Elysiums beyond their control.

Fixed according to Duoae elsewhere, and he's English so he should know.

Good luck on that next podcast. I hope the other guys can get a word in, trying to share time with Lord Elysium. Lord outranks CEO I think.

They should definitely to try get this Elysium on the podcast, I suspect she'll put everyone in their places.

This thread gave me a headache from laughing.
Totally worth it.

This thread took a turn for the awesome, and it was pretty good to begin with!

Just read through this thread again and I wonder:

Lady Elysium wrote:

Would knowing the many, many in-jokes make it better or worse? I suspect:

freaked out

Would be the answer to that.

This needs to be examined further. If we have such power as a collective conscious, there's no telling what wonders we can conjure up.

I'd totally be aiming for a female Sphynx type creature that I can ride with large breasts on it's back for holding onto, one chainsaw limb for zombie killing, and a set of teeth that double as a bottle opener.

Don't we have a super secret Goodjer group that deals with the arcane?

Hmm: How can I put this:

Duoae is addicted to vowels as Elysium is addicted to WoW.

Duoae clearly has a Cthulu inspired maw capable of pronouncing all vowel words. I dont speak Cthulu, so I don't know how to pronounce that.

Elyssi ah eh,
ElyjaE,
Elizzabadabado.

Can I just squeak by with 'The Elysiums"

Now that it is confirmed there are more than one Elysium, it opens the opportunity for annual Elysium Reunions, bringing the Elysium Clan together from all across the globe.

Yes, it called Arcanum of Elysiae and Sexuality Obscura. But you didnt hear that from me....

I feel like we're somewhere dangerously near Peter Molyneux's brain...

And wait...Greek mythology? Are you sure we're not all just referencing Danish trance music?

Peter M's designer notes for Fable 3: The Elysium Edition

* This game is gonna change how you live.
* Forget the dog from Fable 2, this time you are going to adventure around the world with not one, but two potential Elysium.
* You will affect the living breathing world around you through your Elysium. You apply a beard tattoo to your Elysium, everyone grows a beard. Your Elysium writes a controversial anti-review, a 'vanguard' of enemies will attack your properties, razing the world to ashes. You equip your Elysium with a mini-van, all the worlds inhabitants start travelling in mini-vans.
* Your Elysium will dynamically affect the factions in the world around you. Polarize different villages by how you decide to review Fallout 3 in Quick Time Event writing sequences. If you want to torture the citizenry around you, set your Elysium to "Drone on about WoW patch notes" mode. The villagers will fight back, taunting your Elysium by confusing the feature sets for Birth of America and Birth of America TWO.
* Grow tired of the your GWJer Elysium using North American English, then make him drink a Potion of Gender Bending and you'll hear Elysium change over to the Queen's English, entertaining you with foreign terms like bloody-hell and bollocks.

Planned future DLC will allow for additional companions and adventures:
Planned for Jan 2011: The Certia DLC pack. Explore the mazes of mortia in search of "The Ultimate Game."
Planned for Feb 2011: The Rabbitssess DLC. Travel to the ethereal realm to unlock the secret of your DRM sequences.

Whatever you do don't pick up any of the periodicals in game, since I hear there's a mean bug that can possibly red-ring your 360.

OCD editing. That or the full impact of my morning coffee just hit. Akakakakakakak

This thread reminds me of that Spongebob episode where everyone imitates Squidward.

"I'm Elysium, You're Elysium. We're .... all .... Elysiums....."

Since I have now come off my five minute Laughing Binge of Lost Sanity, I can inform you that you are doing something right, though I'm not certain whether you should be proud of that.

It was your bio pic...

For the masses: Summoning 101

It was totally the 3 picture combo. The awesomeness of some steroid induced man picture tempered with the ‘cute to the point of pukeing’ corgi wrapped in naked mariachi band turns a simple thread into a summoning platform.

Awesome.

I wouldn't worry too much, it's rather fetching. It beats a pic of you picking your nose haunting you.

Welcome btw, be careful of Mex.
