Post a website, entertain me!

The customer is not always right.

The only thing that would make that better would be if they had some sort of description of the customer. Nothing too detailed, but their rough age, ethnicity, sex and apparent financial standing would add some interesting context.

From that site, I thought it deserved to be posted here.

How A DS RPG Killed The ESRB
Video Game Store | Cincinnati, OH, USA

(Customer brings a mediocre role playing game for the Nintendo DS up to the counter.)

Customer: “Hey, would this game be good for an eight year old?”

Me: “Well, does he like RPGs?”

Customer: “Oh, I don’t let him watch anything rated R.”

Me: “Oh…I mean, does he like role playing games?”

Customer: “Whats that? That like one of them Mario games?”

Me: “No, it’s one where you follow a story line and usually has a lot of reading, like Final Fantasy. Has he ever played anything like that before?”

Customer: “Oh, he don’t read books. And I don’t like that it’s rated R and PG.”

Cu-lassic.

I just learned that one of my favorite Daily Show correspondents has a sex advice column in Esquire.

Some of these are hilarious, but be advised it is a sex advice column, so you might want to avoid it at work.

Portal Bar

It's been 6+ weeks since there has been a post in this thread, but I thought 'hot chicks with douchebags' merited a post. It might be NSFW depending on what they choose to post, but most of it is relatively safe.

Check this site out. Keep an eye out for Madge and her boyfriend Boris, as well as the writer and his husband, the ever-mysterious J.

F*** my life

You might be having a bad day, but there's a good chance someone else had it worse. There's obviously a few fakes thrown in there, but the community is pretty ruthless on calling them out and haggling them about it.

Instrument Database

I used to have a program on my mac called MakingMusic that was essentially a database of musical instruments. It's been reborn as a website.

Meh, it's too obvious that it's a spoof. You have to put real effort into making it believable.
