Guys, I already wanted a Tesla. Now I actively long for one. Thanks a bunch.

So jealous of RabbitCon. Sounds like you guys had a ton of fun yet again!

Listening to The Meeples on my drive in this morning really brought up my spirits.

I'm so happy for this community.

Once again, great show guys!

Is it me, or does Graham sound just a little like Bowie when he's singing?

Cory Banks, Managing Editor of PC Gamer, and weekend crooner! Loving the Meeples tracks!

Not just a little! He's definitely channeling Bowie somehow.

for the record... f*ck full stop bends!

I heartily encourage people to start house cons in their own areas. Rabbitcon is a blast, but there's no need to have bigshot friends or draw from thousands of miles away.

That said, what songs did we end up putting in the podcast?

Hey, I was on this song too! I played the Mixing Board.

... I didn't play it very well.

Also, I probably managed the hell out of something.

It was a managerial masterpiece.

I thought you had no pants/shorts on in this picture for a hot second.

I'm really glad that you talked about the Tesla, I saw Sean tweeted about it and was hoping for more info.

Cory seems so much happier ever since he started with PC Gamer. I like it.

Another year, another Rabbitcon!! Sounds like you guys had a ton of fun!!!
Really enjoyed the reading by Graham Rowat. Aside from his dreamy voice and talent, it was the text and its meaning that really touched me. We've all been children and we've all, to a greater or lesser degree, had this kind of mark left upon us by our parents. Worst part is that Shawn's mom probably didn't mean anything by her smirk, she probably just thought it was cute or something, who knows. And yet the impact left upon him lasted years.
Now that I'm on the other side of the fence, it's something that really scares me. How do I avoid inflicting this kind of thing upon my own son? Increasingly, I've had this niggling suspicion that the short answer is "you can't."

Joust seems to have been another smashing success, but I was really glad to hear about Koi Pond and Love Letter, those look very interesting and fun!!!

Rock on, Meeples!

Needs a few cherries on it though.

As someone who only listens to 2 podcasts, this one and GiantBomb, it was a really nice intro.

Thank you for that.

This episode reminded me I still haven't played Love Letter with more than 2 people

I just picked up a copy, so... something to do at the next Boston-area S&T?

Most definitely, although I'm just lamenting we haven't been able to get our regular board game crew together to play since we bought it.

EDIT:

I was just thinking that too listening to the track. Good work all! But you have to add some Bowie to the repertoire now

BTW, that was me who put "nirnroot." Sometimes you can't get something out of your head, so you just go with it.

Oh man, Growat doing Ziggy or Space Odyssey!

We actually practiced Ziggy at one point, but we didn't have Graham at the time. Now that you've connected the two in my head, I'd consider that a lock for the 2014 tour.

Then I guess I have to you to thank for a good laugh. I positively erupted with laughter when I heard about that on the podcast.

Anybody with their bass up freaked out by phantom footsteps during this one? LOL... I work alone from home, I actually ran upstairs to make sure nobody else was here!! (In case I'm being too obscure: the podcast mics at Rabbitcon picked up footsteps "upstairs".)

Love the podcast, as usual, wish I had a rabbitcon network to play with. Very cool!

Yeah, we can only keep a house of 30 odd people so quiet at 9AM on a Saturday.

Nah, he's just a discipline daddy.

Or it's a custom cutting board?

No, this is a custom cutting board (note: among many made by a good friend after expanding from hand made guitars).

I need to find a board game recommendation thread around here.

Like this one?

Yup, not meant as a criticism. Was just funny to have the ghosts of rabbitcon past haunting my house; all things considered, it was crazy how little excess noise was in there.
