This cat will eat you when you are sleeping. [notag][Men's Warehouse Guy]I guarantee it.[/Men's Warehouse Guy][/notag]

You are correct, sir. She gets locked in the bathroom at night. True story.

Is it just me or are her front legs freakishly long?

I don't have any pictures that I can get on here right now of my dog Junior that I had to put down a few years ago.
So instead I'll post a couple of Kannon's cat, Monster.
Sorry for the bad quality, they were taken on my phone.

This is Daisy

She went in for surgery a week ago to remove a kidney stone that was causing kidney failure, complicated by congestive heart failure. At first she was not recovering, then her kidneys started to work again and we were given renewed hope. However, her health had been declining over the past several days. Today we brought her to the vet and discovered that her kidney failure had progressed and she had also become anemic. With no diagnosis and no good prognosis and her in obvious distress, we made the very difficult decision to let this sweetest of all kitties go today. No one should have to lose two beloved pets in one year.

Aww, Quintin.
I'm so sorry.

This is one of my favorite pics of Daisy and Mickey together as kittens. They're laying on their backs together in my lap; is there anything cuter? Two of the sweetest kitties you'd ever meet and I will forever miss them climbing over each other for prime lap position.

So sorry for your loss Quintin. It's always sad to lose a loving companion.

Yellek & QS - just as I read Quintin's post, a ball of fur seemed to know I was going to need a hug. I'm sorry to hear about your loss and I know you miss them both terribly.

Hugs from me & Blue sends kitty hugs to your family.

He passed away last summer, but I'll post a pic of my favorite little woozel anyway.

R.I.P. Paxton.

That sucks Quintin. No one should have to go through that.

Sorry to hear that, Quintin. Here's hoping you find many more feline friends.

Time for more Sam!

We took these shots at Capitola Beach:

Alright another SoftPaws user!

My cat is sporting her neon pink ones right now. They match her collar.
OK, I didn't do it for fashion sense. The bright pink ones make it easy to tell when she loses one. I used to use the clear ones and I couldn't tell one was missing without grabbing her and checking (which is usually easier said than done).

Anyway I think I have pic showing them. I'll post one when I get home.

Sorry to hear about your kitty, Quintin.

Yeah, I need to take her into work so I can apply them again. It takes three technicians and a kitty muzzle to keep her down so we can put the soft paws on. Pain in the ass but so worth it.

Very sad to hear about your kitty Q.

When we put down our last dog, I argued for a long time against getting another because I did not want to go through that again. So we got two:

So that's what those are. I'd assumed the cat had candy corns in between her toes for Halloween.

Cute dogs, HedgeWizard! Is the handsome one on the left a German Shepherd / Husky mix?

Is Sam also a Jaguars' fan?

Alright, as promised, here is "Destiny" showing off her pink SoftPaws. Actually these things saved the photographer's face. She was pushing, poking, and teasing the cat to get her sit up nice put all she did was piss off the cat. Destiny hissed and smacked her across the face. She would have had stripes across her face otherwise. After that the photographer just let the cat do what she wanted and we got this good one. It was fundraising "photograph your pet" event at her vet. Oh did I mention she just had her shots before this so she was already in a bad mood. Normally she's a big baby.

How is it that you can pose a cat but in the sixteen years I owned my dog, I couldn't get him to pose for crap?

You can't. Cats do what they want. Mine didn't "pose". That position is just the end of a victory dance for beating up a pet photographer that desperately deserved it.

Sheldon is really one good lookin' turtle!

Tonight I'll try snapping some pictures of Quicklime -- our new ball python.

Thanks!
Yeah - he's a German Shepherd + something mix; we're not sure if it is Husky since he lacks any of their defining features. He's around 70 lbs, very rangy with tall, skinny legs, and he's very strong. The various vets we've taken him to (we've moved a few times since rescuing him) all believe there was a wolf in the woodpile some generation back.

The other pooch is an Aussie mix with a beautiful brindle coat.

No. But his collar says he's a Fresno State fan. Just as bad.

I taught him to watch football and high-five with me. We've had to really strain to find opportunities to work on that skill.

You have trouble finding reasons to high-five a dog? You, sir, are not doing it right.

I'm in ur p*ssy, stealin ur orgazm.
(Picture not included)

tOW, was that really necessary?

I come to these forums to avoid juvenile posts like that.
Thanks.

Well, I was gonna post this in the pet pictures thread, but the search function has let me down again, so in here it goes.

This is a photo I took of Princess Leia watching her favorite TV show.

Heh, apparently your search-fu is better than mine. Thanks

Nah - site search is still nerfed. I'd already posted in this thread, so it was on my "Recent Posts" list.

Glad to help, though
