You Decide: What Game Must Certis Buy For Me?

Gears 2

Left 4 Dead

I vote for Call of Arrogance 4: Modern Vanity

I'm so vain. I probably think that comment's about me.

Thanks for adding Brat-HEY WAIT A MINUTE! :O

I'm suddenly much left miffed that Lobster's Bratz comment beat mine to the board. Carry on.

I'd actually go Gears of War 2. It's more expensive

You still have to get Left 4 Dead though.

There is absolutely no question that I will have Left 4 Dead one way or another. Don't anyone worry about that.

So there's an interesting dilemma. You have a free game coming to you. Do you take the game you know you would otherwise buy, thereby saving you the money to do something else with? Or do you already factor in the cost of the game you would buy, and therefore request something that you wouldn't buy yourself?

Tough call...

(I vote L4D4EVA.)

I'm beingwing my vote for one not listed. Far Cry 2 looks freaking amazing and the only thing that would make it better is if Certis bought it. Far Cry 2 baby!

I picked these 4 games because I was happy to get any of them. I planned on either purchasing or GameFly-ing every one of them. L4D is a guaranteed purchase. Gears 2 probably is too. The other two are either purchase or rent-until-I-beat titles.

I am going to take Left 4 Dead's lead to mean that everyone thinks I'm really cool and wants to play co-op with me.

"Hey, Legion, Certis didn't pay $50 so you could run around shooting me in the back. I'm on YOUR TEAM."

L4D

Left 4 Dead.

If you're looking to maximizing your gaming dollar, you could always get Certis to buy you the Fallout 3 Survivor Edition and then pick up Left4Dead during a retail sale. That is, you end up paying less out of pocket for more overall game content.

Also, that would the PC version of L4D, no? Based on the community response to TF2, I don't think the 360 version will draw the same amount of multiplayer interest.

Definitely Left 4 Dead.
Either game you pick, it's all going to feel pretty sweet knowing Certis had to buy it for you.

I am torn between L4D, Fallout 3 and Far Cry 2. Any one of those would be great.

I guess I will go with L4D though since it will be nice to have a large community of GWJers playing.

Left 4 Dead.

Diablo 3 if you can hold out that long.

There's a $60 limit on the prize.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed

Barbie Horse Adventure
or
Bratz Chernobyl

Gears 2

Bratz: Lobsters mom:+3
Mirror's Edge: -1
Left4Dead: -1
(what that still only counts as one vote right?)

We tithe on the gross here, sir, not the net.

The problem with Bratz: Lobzter'z Mom is that, while certainly well under the $60 price on its own, the shipping costs would put us WAY over.

I say make the stingy bastard buy you $60 worth of lap dances. That'll show 'im.

I like where your head is at.

Gears 2, the wallet hurts more than the pride.

Left 4 Dead (PC)

What game will you spend more time killing Certis in?

Fallout 3 PC PC PC

Gears 2. Only because I want to torque your jaguar loving face.
