It continues to make me sad that 80% of players played as the wrong Shepard.

Totally agree! When I see ads for ME2 with a male Shepherd, I have to do a double take as Shepherd has been and always will be a girl to me. I find the character I created, a racist alien hater who has a change of heart while being interviewed by that reporter, to be sooo much more interesting as a girl.

Sorry, my Femshep punched that reporter.

Final Fantasy XIV is a game that had no reason to be as bad as it is. Just the interface alone made me quit that game after about an hour. Oh well, back to EQII.

Metro 2033 had some great atmosphere. Sadly, the section with the Librarians made me stop playing. Way too frustrating.

Starcraft II might have been great for me if Relic had not given us Company of Heroes and Dawn of War II. As is, SCII just fell short.

I was just hoping Epic Mickey would look similar to Limbo. It does not.

BF:BC2 was a great single-player experience. Sadly, one of my co-workers/Battlefield buddies died recently, so I have not had the heart to play the multiplayer.

"You're on glue!"

My game of the year for 2010? I call it "Wife Buys a Car." This means more time for me to play games instead of running around picking her up. I'd call that a win-win.

Crigger and The Urge? Well hey, bing bong, 15 minutes past the big old hour 5 o'clock! So when do you guys do a phone scan and give away a boob job to the 100th caller?

"I'd hit that like the fist of an angry god."

I love the Scott Pilgrim game, because it brings us back to a time when your controller only needed maybe four buttons and a D-pad.

My GOTY (since I prohibit myself from naming Cataclysm) was Starcraft 2. They really delivered in singleplayer and I wish I could find a way to battle my gaming anxiety and dive into multiplayer, but alas.

Regarding Epic Mickey, I have a sad anecdote. The city I live in has 7 electronic marts of the two major chains here in Europe. The week before Christmas, I was visiting all of them plus a Toys'R'Us and two department stores in search of SSBBrawl. In all but one of them, Epic Mickey was in the demonstration Wii hooked up to a flatscreen TV. The first two times I didn't really think much when seeing nobody was playing, while lining up to try out Kinect and Move. After that I started paying more attention. Nobody, that took the controller and dabbled with the game a bit, spend more than 5 minutes. It didn't matter if it was kid or grown-up. Normally you'll have to battle a flock of 12y olds to have a go at any of the consoles. Felt kinda sad, especially since I knew, through GWJ, who was behind the game and what his intention had been.
