Finally, because 1) it was popular when I added it at the end of last season, 2) there have been a couple requests that I do it again, and 3) the devi... er, Ike made me do it - I'll be adding a second waiver period to run Saturday night at 8pm Eastern... if I can remember. I'm going to have to manually switch the waiver period back and forth between the two nights so if I'm due to switch it and you notice I haven't, please let me know.

Well, I'm off to an 0-2 start.

Wow, I'm not doing so bad!

Thanks, Grump!

Good luck this week, BTW.

Looks like the 9th Ward Boyz have more injuries than the Saints.

Hopefully, I'll get lucky again this weekend.

Last week my season continued it's downward spiral. I lost Tom Brady in week 1. Week 2 I lost a starting RB and TE for at least a few weeks. Now looking like a starting WR is also out. Hopefully McGahee comes back this week and is effective. At this point I am just hoping to have a winning record.

GWJFFL2
01. Redhwk's ROFLcopters
03. Jolly's Giants

Game of the week right there. Redhwk's going DOWN!

Also, I object to my #3 rating, but I guess I won't be there after this week regardless

(Yes, I know it's based on the power rankings, I'm just whining)

I owe Old Man's Depends for the loss he hung on me last year. Let's get it on fellow Metroplexer! Grr!

Different season, same outcome. You will lose. Horribly.

Not this time around! My lifeline isn't dependent upon Romo-to-TO like last year... this year its Bad HairCut-ler - to Marshall.

Yeehaw!

Here are my conundrums for this week:
1. Romo or Rodgers
2. GB's D/ST (vs. Dallas) or PIT's D/ST (vs. Philly)

Two tough calls there. I would probably go Romo, since Detroit put up 25 on GB last week and Dallas has better offense than Detroit, but Rodgers has been throwing lots of touchdowns and is at home...

The defenses are pretty even I think, but Green Bay is at home and Pitt is away, so I would go with Green Bay.

I would go with whomever scores the lowest if I were you. Honestly, its hard to bench Romo. He has those 4 TD games that just obliterates opponents and if you bench him, he'll torment you with it. The only team to have played Rogers twice would be the Cowboys. I bet they're a bit more ready for him this time than they were last time. Let's put it like this -- McNabb looked good vs. the Cows, but his FFL numbers were fairly average after looking them over. I'd keep riding that Romo train to ruin, my friend.

Definitely Pit's D/ST over GB's. Both are good, but when you compare the teams they're playing, it's not even close.

That's really the conclusion I have come to as well. It's really hard to bench Romo. Rodgers has looked good over two games, but it's just two games. I guess this is a good problem to have.

Exactly what I was thinking. Thanks for the input, gentlemen.

I should have picked up Jamal Lewis or Laurence Maroney instead. Reggie Bush was also available, Legion

I'd just like to point out that, barring someone jumping ahead tonight, Reggie Bush is the #1 scoring fantasy player in our league.

It won't hold all season, but he'll certainly justify my #2 pick.

I love me some Ronnie Brown.

I love me some Ronnie Brown.

I would love him more if he hadn't been riding my bench during one of the greatest fantasy performances of all time. At least my accidental draft 'reach' doesn't look so bad anymore.

I love the playcalling.

The TD pass was easily the best implementation of a gadget play since Boise State's 2-point conversion.

The HB pass is a shocker enough as it is, and so is the direct snap...

But when Brown started to pull the ball back, you could hear 11 guys in Patriots helmets all thinking the same terrifying thought...

"OMG HE'S F$%&ING LEFT HANDED!"

Yeah, it was a tight play. But if you could not bring up Fiesta Bowls of years recent that would be awesome.

Woohoo, revenge is mine. After losing last week by less than a point, I win this week by 1.25. Granted it was touch and go, I needed the Charges kicker to get less than 15 points.

*Whew!* That was a yank...

Two players score single digits = loss

Oh well, I'll be back to smack Legion around next week

That was the WAC's shining moment. We still bask in its glory. I've never cheered for Boise State so hard.

Not if Reggie Bush has anything to say about it!

Vomit, oh god.....well, I feel better now.

.75 points...

I lost by .75 points.

I knew I should have gone with Ike Hilliard instead of David Patten.

Congrats, Grump.

It is with great humility that I temporarily hand over the DFW crown to Blacksheep. Congratulations on the ass kicking.

It doesn't fit me right... my head is too big

Was there a week 4 thread?

I apologize if I missed it, but I can't find one anywhere.

Hmm, I knew I forgot something. Thanks, Leap. (Sorry, folks. It's been a hell of a week.)
