25% OFF on used 360 games, Gamestop!

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I wasn't sure if this was worth a new one.

Have you guys seen the video series by the disgruntled Gamestop employee? It's all over the place now...

I tried watching the video but couldn't make it past the zero punctuation imitation. The calling himself "unoriginal" doesn't excuse him ripping someone's style off. Unless he's Krusty the Clown and the bit he's copying is Steve Allen's.

Video 5, which is Episode 3, was interesting if true.

During the latter half, it discusses how Gamestop employees are paid via a corporate-wide debit card system, from which there are transaction fees to access and withdraw their paycheck money. Ouch.

I lasted to 2 mins 30 seconds. Talking through his slur and super-quick text pop-ups and edits. I looked at the timer and it said something along the lines of "Still 6 more minutes left!" Forget it.

Yeah, and the guy absolutely does not understand his target audience. People that would sit through that, already know Gamestop is a rip-off. People that don't know, wouldn't have made it past one minute.

And that was six minutes left in THAT CLIP. He has many more videos to watch as well, to get the whole story. It's got to be over and hour.

In other news about gamers that don't realize how unimportant their "issues" are, there is a thread over at Operation Sports about a letter a guy sent to his congressman because Madden was shipped in such poor shape. And it wasn't a kid, its a college professor. The letter wasn't bad, except for the part where it was about a videogame being buggy. Seriously, it was several paragraphs of well thought out text. Because his copy of Madden was buggy, and crashed when he tried to play franchise mode.

I can imagine the response:

Dear Citizen;

We thank you for your concern on this issue, and understand your concerns. This election season, we hope you will consider NCAA Football instead, as we believe it is the superior game.
