We had a full five man recording this week just in case Elysium had to run out and deliver a baby. Shawn uses the opportunity to ask some tricky industry questions to his distinguished co-hosts and everyone gets their balls broken over something. Good times.

You can make mid-flight adjustments, it's just harder on the iPhone than it is on the PC.

Grand Admiral is very challenging because not only does the AI react almost instantly to anything you do, they midflight adjust like crazy. Still only beat the AI about 50% of the time on that one.

First I'd like to say you're all bastards. I've been avoiding trying WoW because I think the consequences would be pretty dire for my life, but you're making it sound soooo tempting.

Second, with Starcraft 2 I agree with rabbit. Let's wait for the game and see how it turns out, Blizzard is capable of carrying it off, or they could screw it up, but there's no way to tell. I'm inclined to think that the second and third games will sell less than the first one because more casual gamers will have their SC2 experience already.

Ummm... there was a third point, but it escapes me.

Don't underestimate the maverick Will Wright / Jade Raymond ticket. It's a winner.
Also - I'm ok with talking about iPhone games, so long as the other hosts keep in the habit of mocking rabbit for having the iPhone as his primary gaming platform these days.

People can complain about how Blizzard split SC2, but at the end of the day, they are going to make money hand over fist, and I'll need a cigarette afterwards from the sexual pleasure I'll get.

Yep. It's not that we think it's wrong for them to do so, we're just against them figuring out new ways to charge us.

That's my Monday breakfast, my Tuesday breakfast, my Wednesday breakfast, my Thursday breakfast, my Friday breakfast, and one breakfast on the weekend. The other weekend breakfast involves throwing things in a pan and then eating them while I play video games.
