Awesome. I really like the dude and now that he has his goofy side more under control in Brodeo's and other 1up podcasts (1up yours) he makes very good points without doing the Shane Betanhousen, aka don't let anyone else talk.
I grok we should have a drink.
oh my god boooooog

Investigative journalism! In this case, I investigated this week's episode of GFW Radio, where he mentions his upcoming GWJ appearance about five times.
Cheater.
I wish you guys would stop encouraging him.

I'd like to see Jeff Green and Shawn Elliott come on the show. Green, of course, is a great guest - but I'd love to see the Goodjer Crew versus the unbuckled craziness that is Elliott.
I'm one of the few people you'll meet who've written more books than they've read.
I pretty much thought he was trying to work out a philosophy that allowed him to have sex with anyone he wanted.
Feminist pwn ftw.

Hooray! Hooray for 100!
Mystery Song made me laugh. It also made me cry at the same time. There may have also been some drooling and other involuntary bodily functions.
Certis: Quintin is both smart and attractive.
Fedaykin98: Good lord, I wouldn't have expected brilliance like that from that nemeslut Quintin Stone!
Yonder: It's weird to say this, but Quintin Stone may be the wisest person here.
My dog gives me very concerned looks as I dance my way through house singing it aloud.

No no, that's called "reconciliation of former and host philosophies." It's anthropology.
Words... are a big deal.

For all the goofy, fratboyish crap that Elliott engages in (through his griefing and trolling), once you get past that part of him and listen to him speak and formulate arguments, you realize that he's really effing bright. He gets to some really compelling and thought-provoking arguments in his podcasts, and his approaches are often pretty novel.
Plus, his Merchants of Cool mockucast was fantastic.

...wait, wha!?
Just finished listening to the show: excellent 100th episode! Consistently one of the most entertaining and intelligent podcasts on gaming, and I think Ken hit the nail right on the head as to what makes the show so special: it really feels as if a few friends get together to talk about gaming in all its different forms and I'm lucky enough to be in on the conversation. For that, I thank you.
And I must thank Rob as well for briefly sending a shout out to me in regards to the music I've submitted for the show. I'd be lying if I'd say I didn't feel a small thrill every time I hear one of my tunes in the show, and it's been my great pleasure (and honor) to help out in the regard. For that, I thank you again!
Boop.
Excellent podcast, guys. Don't listen to that humility crap, it's hard work doing 100 shows, and you deserve to pat yourself on the back for it. Besides, all of you are funnier with your egos motivating your replies, and funny always trumps humble.
Favorite books: I heard Ender's Game in there from Ken, but you left out RR Martin. Reading Thomas Covenant was like pulling teeth, but Donaldson did a two book series with similar themes that I love, "The Mirror of her Dreams." Antiheroes that make you want to throw the book at the wall are fun. Stranger in a Strange Land always drove me nuts. All that hippie free-love era nonsense usually makes me want to poke people in the eye for bringing it up. But I still use the word grok with great pride.
First Video Game: I played most of them, but Star Castle was my first true addiction. Between that, Battlezone, and Sinistar, I threw my quarters away with gusto. I always hated Pac Man, but I loved Wizard of Wor, Robotron, and Missile Command. The first game I played completely through was Black Tiger, and getting through on one quarter was a personal victory of mine in early college.
Again, you guys did a great job. I really respect your show, even if the hosts are jerks..
When are we scheduling the CP Host / GWJ Host rematch?

My favourite book, by a long way, is 'Rendezvous with Rama.' I haven't read 'Stranger.' I'll have to give it a go.
Looking forward to Jeff Green's appearance

So who's the WoW author?
Late to the party, but congrats on 100 episodes. Also: WHOA! Certis mentioned the Malazan Book of the Fallen series! I've been trying to pimp that to anyone who will listen; I read Gardens of the Moon years ago when it first came out and was totally blown away by it. As you said, it's Epic (with a capital E, no less).
Good show as always, guys, keep up the good work. And the Mystery Song sent shivers down my spine...
Just to let you know, when you were listing GWJ Podcast-isms, you missed out "grab some bench".

I just figured it out! The associate producer Levine mentions about 10 or 11 minutes in is Shawn Elliot from 1up! Curse you Levine. You are the hidden hand that pulled the plug on the Brodeo! With every fiber of my being, I curse your name!
P.S. Please give me a job so I can work with Shawn Elliot.
