So i decided i'd go check out the crafting villages, and crafting teachers. I ended up doing this in the Purple Lotus Swamp.
That place is ANNOYING trying to get to all the trainers. I also accepted the first crafting profession i came to which was Weapons. Thinking that when i was done looking at it i can drop it and pick up the ones i intend to use.
Well right now there's a massive bug where you are not able to delete or opt out of your proffesion! So you're stuck with your first choice! The quests they give you also count against your quest count and you'll end up maxing out since they dump like 8 quests on you at once.
So it looks like i'm a weaponsmith for the forseeable future. I'm like 550+ in a queue to talk to a gm about this

Soon as i can finish these resource collection quests... all the nodes are picked dry by the time i get to them

I have been through all of the stage 1 gathering quests and most of the stage 2... however, I have to hit 40 before I can finish the gathering.
I was going to go Arcitecture with Aesidlur (Deathwhisper) but I believe Tykl (or someone else) wanted to do it, so I will have to think about what I want instead. I'll be taking Arcitecture on Wiccana, though, so I'll still get to see that craft anyway.
On the bright side, Sandstone nodes now work.
However, did anyone else notice that Conall Valley was empty of Resources? Kopshef (sp?) and the Wild Lands both were abundantly populated with nodes.. I found not a single one in Conall despite the fact that I thought it was supposed to be the 20-30 zone of Cimmeria.
I remember seeing ash around CV but not much else

Probably the most important thing for people to do is travel to Poitain as soon as you can once you leave Tortage. All the gathering trainers are there and it will allow us to gather mats while we quest and level.
