All Pro Football 2k8 - Season 3 - Week 2

BTW, I wanted to makes sure I congratulate Bagga on our game last Sunday. It really was a great one.

Two defensive plays stood out. One, he took control of his DB to jump in front of Novacek, when Novacek had perfect position in front of him, to make a cruscial INT that would have put me in excellent scoring position.

The other one was when I had Derrick Thomas bearing down on Emmit Smith in what looked like an obvious six yard loss on an outside run. It was 3rd and 4 with about one minute left. I would have gotten the ball back with one more shot to tie, but I whiffed and Emmit snarfed (yes, snarfed, that's an old football term!) up the yards for a fist down to win the game.

It was a such a good game, that I didn't really even mind losing.

It *was* a really good game. All of this talk about "no defense" from other teams... who dey?

After your IM, I never saw you again, Firesloth. Sorry if I missed you. Are we going to try for tonight? Later.

We're done, you can roll us forward.

How do you just down Jerry Rice? Ronnie Lott + Lester Hayes.

I didn't use enough Ottis Anderson.

Grump and I got our game in tonight, with my Navigators pulling out a 27-14 victory.

Earl Campbell ran 25 times for 164 yards, and Randall Cunningham completed 12-13 for 170 yards. On defense, Ronnie Lott and Co. held Ken Stabler to 6-21 passing and Jerry Rice to 0 catches, although Ottis Anderson had 113 yards on 13 carries.

Thanks for the enjoyable game, Grump.

On to week 3!
