"we launch a new contest" wow, things are getting main stream around here I see.

Yeah it's cool. Love the show guys. I wish i was so rich that i could employ you all to do this as a one a day thing rather than once a week. I think that yours is possibly the funniest podcast on the internet.

Sorry for sounding like a gushing fanboy but i really look forward to wednesdays. They're the highlight of my week...

Regarding Luna's filthy mouth, I'd like to clear up a small misunderstanding once and for all.

It's not that getting drunk turns it on, it's that getting drunk causes her to forget to mute her mic. Believe me, it is always on and always entertaining. She is just very shy about letting people hear it.

As for Zombie Skate, it is more often heard there for two reasons. First, I tend to be a colossal blowhard and thus my mic is often activated in Halo's "team speak" mode. Because of this, you will often hear her swearing over my audio channel. Second, after a year and a half of eating people's brains, you just feel more comfortable screaming "Eat dicks, motherf*ckers!" at them just before you kill them.

That's a keeper.

Agreed!

Glad, very very glad, to see the Liongames is now an official sponsor.

And for the record, lunabean is a lady and a class act.

Great show guys!

As a suggestion, Gametap is the perfect use for your Xbox360 Controller. I'm surprised how many gerat arcade games are available on that service (Gunstar Heroes anyone?) especially when compared to the prices of other "purchaseable" online arcade services like Xbox Live, Virtual Console and the Playstation Store.

That's an excellent point. I've been surprised too, as far as the library goes. Nintendo and Microsoft are getting schooled on some of the content Gametap is offering so far.

  • Cheesy intro - check
  • Worked are GameStop with guy that would never leave - check
  • C&C3 - Greased lightning?
  • Dawn of War has over 2 million copies sold, I think.

I haven't heard it but I'm curious - Does LionGames ship international?

I think without WoW PC gaming would be even more niche and marginal that it sorta is now.. remove those 8 million some players and I'm not sure you'd simply see EQ2 with 6 million subs.. would they have more subs? yeah sure.. the hardcore WoW guys would certainly be playing some other MMORPG (I'm certainly not super hardcore..but I'm more hardcore than most..and if not for WoW I'd probably not be playing an MMORPG for what its worth)...but I think without WoW PC gaming would not have that "buzz" it seems to have now when it comes to the mass media.

I look at PC releases and without fail they tend to get overshadowed by console releases... add to that many of PC gaming's biggest mainstream releases are also released on the console.. if not at the same time..sometimes sooner.

I don't think Company of Heroes resource gathering made that much sense at all. Why not just have these come in through supply routes on the edge of the map? Why the urge to be more like Warcraft and less like a real war game?

That, or she'll kill you then wear you as a hat.

Dead Poets Society... Myst

Nobody would want to play DPS (except emo kiddies) because -- and I haven't been mature enough to admit this to myself for as long as I'd like -- Dead Poets Society sucked. It really did. I'm sorry.

And Myst in a movie genre? Chick flick. Maybe psych drama.

What a great idea for a contest!

...

How many syllables is "Bukkake"? Oh god this is going to end badly.

The ways in which I want to use these guys are numerous but I'm not sure what it would cost to ship to Canada or how long it would take stuff to arrive.

I don't think UPS Standard (to Canada) is much worse than UPS ground in the US. I do not think they have UPS Standard to Mexico, though.

You can use USPS internationally.

No PC games at Lion? What sort of hippie commune are you pushing on us? I refuse to give in to the insidious proliferation of the "controller" and its devil ways.

Then you are really gonna hate what MS has proposed at the GDC....

The "h" is silent. Pronounced "dell-lore." Just for future reference.

How come I had no problem with that? Probably because I'm so awesome.

Tell all your lady friends.

Question about the Haiku's. Do we only get one entry? If I submit say, 3 does the best one from the list get picked?

Seems to me multiple entries would be cheating, of a sort. Are you a cheater? ARE YOU?! *poke* *poke*

I am!

Have I ever told you you're my favorite GWJer?

It has been a long
time since I've listened to Shawn's
voice - oh it feels good.

I wanted to make a formal request that "Dickhead Rabbit" make more frequent appearances on the show.

Just when I was beginning to think that there was hope for you...
