Hey guys, I love your podcast.
I heard you talking about XCom and I was wondering what you guys thought of the Jagged Alliance series. Personally, JA2 is my favorite game of all time (and JA2 Gold is available on Steam! Wee!) and beats the hell/pants out/off of the XCom series.
Giggity.

I agree, JA2 is a much better game. But you've got to give props to X-Com for being there 5 years earlier. (As far as I can tell JA1 and X-Com both came out in 1994 and I don't know which came out first.)

Like poly, I frequently use my mouse right on the fabric of my couch, and it works great. It is a Microsoft (wired) Optical Intellimouse. I may at some point get a wireless mouse and keyboard setup - do y'all recommend bluetooth or otherwise?

Also, to those of you who game on your HDTV, did you jump through any hoops setting resolutions on your computer and or the individual games? I've had some challenges in that regard...

Certis: Braehole sent us an email.

When hasn't he sent an email?

Well lets see....so far 50% of the thread is about my e-mail.....
What would the show be without a Braehole email, I'm thinking one up to send right now!

P.S. Kick butt show as always guys! I'm putting my computer on a 60 inch LCD HD TV. It will look great when I send it up. Certis, My wife said the same thing when I told her that my PC was going into the living room. I'm going to hide it and go all wireless, We will see how it works. It's costing so much to build, I'm having to wait an extra month to get it.

I just got around to listening to this..

Did someone actually have the audacity to say that Tempest 2K was CRAP??

omg.
