Star Trek 2009 movie Catch-All (Now on DVD/Blu-Ray and sequel rumors)

Spock has a daddy. That really isn't his picture, is it?

A glimpse of the new Enterprise...er...old Enterprise. The teaser's attached to Cloverfield and should be in nice, spiffy high-res downloadable form on the 21st.

Edit: For a bigger version that shows more off, go here.

I love that they kept the "aztec"-ing of the hull plating, seeing the cutaways inside is kind of cool. It looks a helluva lot more realistic than I expected. Not sure what to think of the nacelles though...

Still, opening day, I'm there!

They are incomplete your looking at the inside, you can also see a bit inside the bridge! A Very cool shot can't wait for the movie

I'm not a Star Trek fan but after looking at the cast, I will be watching this movie.

Ooh I loves it! Looks like the movie refit Enterprise (my favorite looking sci-fi ship ever) with the TOS Enterprise's nacelles.

Yeah, what Barab just said. I like the look of the powered down nacelles. I now expect a shot of them spinning up in the obligatory leaving-spacedock scene.

I really like the picture of the Enterprise, I am not really excited to see this but it still look pretty cool

Bootlegs of the teaser are floating around the Internet like a green snake in sugarcane. I'd post a link, but by the time I do, it'll probably get yanked.

I'm seeing Cloverfield later this afternoon, and I am so fracking excited for this trailer. I don't care about the monster movie at all!

Pretty poor quality...

Kind of wish I waited to watch a true HD version.

I am Simon Pegg's Female Doggo. So yes, I will be queueing up for this when it arrives.

It still gave me goose bumps!

And viral websites.

Word is if you stare at it long enough, one of the cams shows a corridor. They sure know how to keep the internets waiting for a movie.

I go out for a MLK Jr. day stogie and buzzvang beats me to the punch! Damn my addiction!

You expect anything less from the same people that did Lost?

Edit: If you play with the sliders at the bottom of the camera screens, you can sharpen the picture. Most of them just show animations from the teaser.

After seeing the teaser i have to say that i'm impressed. I wasn't expecting much from this but it shows potential.

BEHOLD I GIVE YOU A HALLWAY!

Looks a bit.... dim. Are they just going to have one giant spotlight shining down on Kirk's chair for the bridge?

As much as I want this movie to do well, I don't expect it to do much. The least that I can hope for is that it pleases the fans and doesn't suck. I'm not as hardcore a fan as either my father or brother are, but I expect to be in line to see this opening night.

That looks like an ALIEN hallway, not a Star Trek hallway.

That's exactly what I was thinking. Looks like they are just constructing it, like in the trailer.

Edit: Tie goes to the topic starter..

Paramount announces that the movie's been pushed back to May 8, 2009. Who's editing this? George Broussard?

Edit: Damn! Why did I change the title first?

I read that the movie is gonna be done on time, by the original Christmas release date, but they're just gonna sit on it until May to get higher box office earnings.

Really really sucks. I was lookin forward to this bigtime, now I gotta wait longer.. wahh!

Edit: I guess i'll just have to trust that they really think they got a BIG hit on their hands, the movies gonna be that good.

And here is example of putting spotlights in a floodlight fixture. By installing flood lights you'll make the space brighter and appear bigger, some thing that is always appealing to the prospective starship buyer.

Queer Eye for the Star Fleet Guy

I know that the writers strike was killing production because Abrams kept begging for certain script changes. Strike is now over- possibly the delay is to implement those changes?

That and with those changes are more confident in the movie. They'll make more money in May than in Dec.
