Happy Monday boys and girls. I hope your weekend was as restful and full of gaming as mine was. On Friday Sway and I put over fours hours into Full Spectrum Warrior and learned the true meaning of team work... and dying. On Saturday I picked up Riddick which turned out to be an excellent game with a good amount of variety. Sunday found me playing more Riddick, Thief: DS and some of the Alien Swarm UT2K4 mod with Zedian, Krazytaco and Gaald. Alien Swarm is great if not a little tough to learn when your teammates are screaming at you to Â"quit shooting usÂ", Â"donÂ't place that turret there you idiotÂ" and Â"why havenÂ't you figured out what youÂ're doing yet??Â" ItÂ's been five minutes you bastards! Suffice it to say we never got past the first level despite about twenty tries but I think we still had some fun with it. Today's game of the week is The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords for the Gamecube. It will ship on June 7th for $49.99. A GBA is not required but it's recommended.
This week on DVD we have Mystic River, City of God and more. You can check out the full list here!

I'm loving FSW, but I'm only playing it single player. I need to replace the switch the Xbox was connected to as its died, so for the meanwhile solo play over and over it is for me!
no particular interest, no particular talent
After 5 hrs we beat the first level. We found out that you didn't have to backtrack through the whole map, instead there was a door to go to the end, lol. But this game seriously rocks. Also the flame thrower blows harder than monkey nuts flapping in the wind.
"Thanks, KrazyTaco, thanks. I'd put it in your pooper too." -Mex
"Oh, KrazyTaco, you fulfill all my wishes." -pneuman
"I sometimes hang awake at night dreaming of being called a dumbass by KrazyTaco." -Gravey
Listen snowshoes, this isn't just a futuristic racer. This is a remake of a futuristic racer out on the Atari ST, pre-dated Wipeout by several years and was rock hard. Respeck the 'drome.
Looks like PC is having a good week...
How is a glorified GBA game selling on the GC for $49.99?
I would have bought it at $29.99...but full price? no thanks.. I'll pick up FSW instead this week.
Aint nothing new about the world order..it's been playing since the day they put George Washington on a quarter
Delivering Truth while the 10% deliver lies.
One word.... ZELDA They'll sell a million before people realize it is a GBA game
"Nation, I've always said that rainbows are just God's way of frowning at gay people." Stephen Colbert
It's on sale up here for $49 CDN ($39 US). Considering quite a lot has changed, you can't compare it to the GBA version, not to mention this is finally the killer app for the connectivity crowd. Gotta pick up my pre-order soon..
But yeah, get FSW instead Great game, and Co-Op on live is a big plus for replayability.
