EDIT: Took a second look at my 360 and saw that it was manufactured 2/2010. Forgot I'd had a RROD in the Spring. Assuming that makes it a Jasper I'll want until tomorrow AM to think it over between that and the PS3. Sorry about the delay and thanks for understanding.

- Insert joke about me changing my mind -

- Fairy Princess -

...seriously though, congratulations to you and all.

Congratulations!

I've never won anything in one of these drawings so even making it to the "alt" level is thrilling. Now, someone just needs to have an "accident" . . .

DSGamer has chosen an Xbox 360 (fancy new edition type)

LilCodger the second pick is yours from the remaining prize tiers.

Congrats everybody!

Same time, next year, I'll win.

Yeah, talked it over with my friends and my original answer stands. I'll take the XBox 360. Fancy new edition, as Elysium says.

As I said earlier, I lost my job last November and have only done piece work since then. I actually told my wife just today that the first thing I wanted to do for myself when I got work was to upgrade my 360 so it was quieter. This way I could upgrade my 360 and sell my old one to contribute to bills. Nice surprise to an odd year. I just honestly wanted GWJ to stay alive thanks to my largesse. I didn't know it would take me anywhere.

Well picked, DSGamer!

Two people, actually. Now who will it be?

Spoiler:

It's a surprise.

How cool. I actually have met the grand prize winner at PAX. Congratulations DS Gamer! Nice to see the prize go to a fellow Portlander....

Steve

Congrats to all the winners!

Though you know now that you're all receiving compensation, the only true donaters are those of us who didn't win. Bunch of sell-outs I tell you

Instead of lamenting my lack of win, I've decided to positively delude myself. One more year of winners means another year to come of great podcasting. See, I win too!

Congrats to the winners. I hate your guts and all that
But good for you really and like some others already said : All Goodjers & GWJ site are the winners as well here

That's my bottom line. Dumb luck that I get to upgrade my 360 and sell my old system to my little brother at a good price to pay for some bills (and maybe New Vegas...) is great. But in the end I donate every year so GWJ stays in good shape as this community has been excellent to be a part of over the years.

As much as I desire the Murder of Crows bottle it does not mesh well with cats, small children, or Mrs. Codger's desire to declutter the house. The allure of mysterious and non-quaffable liquor has done nothing to dissuade her veto.

Pending final approval from our benevolent overlords, I'll be taking one of these:

We promised a DS to my five year old daughter as a reward for learning to read. She has loved playing with demo units in stores, but could never understand the words. Now -- she can. She wants to try My Chinese Coach, and the ZuZu pets game and ... (insert excited, five-minute little girl logorrhea here). She loves playing Paper Mario and watching SMB Galaxies, so she jumped from her chair the moment she saw the Mario themed DS.

So thanks everyone for helping to shape the next generation of gamers, and probably ruin the social development of a small child!

Cheers mates! Luck to you next year!

I congratulate you through the seething, green haze of my jealousy!

Well, as long as it wasn't *Legion*.

I swear someone will have to take that Murder of Crows bottle or GWJ can just auction it off to the highest bidder...

I'm passing on the Murder of Crows statue. Maybe I'll regret this after playing Bioshock Inifinite, but I think someone else will appreciate it more than me.
I'm opting for Rock Band 3. I'm not usually one for new AAA games, but I love rock band.

Wow. I'm sort of shocked, honestly.

So that means Eyedoc can get, what, dinner at Friday's or the bottle?

Breechload gets a copy of RB3, which means we move on to Eyedoc.

Can I call dibs on the statue if none of the raffle winners gets it?

I'm still verrrry happy with my Sander Cohen statue. Just saying.

I'll drink your murder shake.

I'm a little shocked too. I would have gone for the statue immediately, no hesitation. I'd offer to buy a system for the winner in exchange for the statue, but I'm pretty sure my wife would literally kill me. (You decide whether or not I am misusing the word "literally" or very consciously using it correctly.)

I actually thought about offering that, but it seemed disingenuous.

I showed the picture to my wife over and over, remarking how uber-cool it was. "We don't need more crap in this house."

My suspicion is that if nothing else, HedgeWizard is the sort of guy to appreciate it. If not, seriously, auction that bad boy.

I understand the hesitance, not knowing if I'll love Infinite as much as the original BioShock, but seriously.

You could wait until closer to BS:Infinite's release date and ebay it to raise donation drive funds. Somehow I think that's going against the spirit of why the statue was given to the donation drive in the first place though.

I will take the statue and thank you very much.

Ding ding ding ding ding! We have a winner!

Congrats to all the winners by the way.

Are you sure there aren't TWO statues?? Now I need to think about which game to select... so many choices!

Congrats all. And especially to the littlestCodger. Gotta take care of the next generation of GWJ! Hope she loves the DS.

Tempted to trade up for one myself, even with the 3DS on the horizon.

Eyedoc, if you want one, I'll absolutely trade you a shiny new 360, same as the original prize, for your statue.

After some consideration, I've decided, oh noble benefactors, to pass along my winnings to the next deserving soul.

I am mighty tempted by Fable III (and half a dozen other games) but my backlog is great. The uproar at HedgeCon when my name was called will be with me... always.

Thanks GWJ!
