Analog Madness

Section:

Anyone who played RavenShield with me last night should know that it was the first time I've really been able to sit in front of console or computer in a week. My father in law is staying with us and we don't really have a very large house. The guest room is normally the computer room / office. The console TV is also the only TV outside of our bedroom. Also, I actually have someone to hang out with when I get home from work, now, instead of just retiring to the computer until the wife gets home from work. All this, coupled with the fact that my scanner is beginning to flake out, prompted me to go a little old-school on this week's comic. I apologize for it having nothing to do with video games and, to be perfectly honest, nothing to do with anything.

BWAHAHAHA...ha...ha?

This is rich. You've crafted entirely new species of fauna (that bird-thing is obviously related to Torgo), placed them in questionable attire and perched one on a crate with magically morphing text. I can't beat that with a mallet.

Panels 3 and 4 are awesome. Made me laugh out loud.

I love that frogman holds his stomach when he laughs. (or at least he looks like he does.)

Um, ok, this one I don't get.

Mex is not alone.... I mean what tha'!

I'm guessing that eye-balling line (the stippled line in the 2nd frame) has some erotic/mexual significance, though the consequences of that is too horrible for me to contemplate further...

Is the thing on the soap box an ostrich? and what does it say on his box? Starts with a P.....

Those of you who don't get the comic are probably just blessed enough to live in cities which have local weekly papers with a higher caliber of comics than those I've encountered over the years...and, more specifically, this past week.

You should probably consider yourselves lucky that you don't get this one.

We have Onion Head Monster. I'll take the sexually ambiguous frogguy and the Torgo bird any day.

Very creative Sway. Your mother will be very proud of you. Now hurry, before you miss the bus. You know, the short yellow bus at the end of the block... Hehe.

Same with college newspapers. I don't know where they get the people to draw comics for them, but they're usually pretty bad. Atleast at my college they are.

Wow. That ostritch thing will give me nightmares.

What I want is one of those shirts where one second it says 33 with a curvy top and the next the threes have a flat top Oh and a box that says FR and the P later Cool invention

Same here. Sometimes I think they would be funny as toilet paper. After I wiped my fudge off of my butt with it.

Nice one Sway. I am always impressed by your ability to capture the essence of the topic.

My college, the University of Colorado, had the usually hilariousWhere the Buffalo Roam. Good stuff.

I detect recycling on a level not seen since Wilma Harding submitted the same packet of poems in two different creative writing classes in college.

OMG that is the funniest thing I've ever heard...

I laughed. I'm not completely sure why, but I did. Maybe it was the drugs from high school, and some sort of flashback thing...
